Chapter 14 - Finally we meet [Engagement]

AJ's POV

We're actually at an exclusive room in our very own restaurant. The Maize Restau Bistro. I and my family are actually waiting for the arrival of Araño Family. This is the very day that I and Jaylin would finally meet. This is the very day na malalaman niya na fiancé niya ako at hindi stalker.

"Places everyone. She's coming" pag inform ng assistant ni Dad sa amin

Parang di ako mapakali. I fix my suit and my hair. Kinakabahan talaga ako. I sat beside my mom pero hindi talaga ako mapakali. I decided to open listen to some music in my ipod. Para naman mabawas-bawasan ang kaba ko. After a while. Napansin ko na biglang nag tayuan lahat ng mga nasa loob ng exclusive room. My dad, my mom, dad's assistant and some of the VIP stared at the door habang ako ay nakatalikod. I was so curious kaya I decided to get the earphones and nilingon ko kung saan sila lahat nakatingin. There and then I saw Jaylin entered the room. She's wearing a red short bodice cocktail dress. Her glowing skin shows her natural beauty. Her skin is white as snow and she has this natural rosy cheeks and her lips. Lips that is so kissable and a smile that makes everyone want her.

"Let's all welcome the Araño Family" announced by the head of staff in our very own restaurant. Everyone then clapped their hands and greeted each other.

"Hey. Tulala ka ata ha?" nabigla ako ng may nag pat ng back ko

"Ej? Bro, nakarating ka ata ha?" nagulat ako at napalingon sa taong nagsasalita

"Oo bro. I won't miss this chance. Si dad din naman yung nag sabi sa akin kaya agad ako nag book ng flight just to be with this event" Ej smiled at me and he looked at Jaylin

"Is she the one?" Ej then added a question

"Oo" I just looked at Jaylin

"She's beautiful and you're quite lucky"

"Yes. I'm really lucky and I guess blessed" pagsang-ayon ko sa sinabi ni Ej

By the way, Ej or Ethan James is my bestfriend. We were in the same class back at the States until we graduated. Small world din kasi we discovered na partners pala sa negosyo yung dad ko at dad niya. Kaya mas naging close kami. Ngayon naman he's here. Hindi talaga magpapahuli sa balita.

"Everyone please settle down. To formally start this event. May I call on our very own legends in the world of business, Mr. Jay Araño and Mr. Anton Valdez" all our attention was caught the very moment the head of staff call on my dad and Jaylin's dad.

"Thank you. Uhm. To everyone. We wanted to let you know that a new power in the business will started to expand. Due to the fact that the Valdez International Corporation and Araño Group and Corporation has decided to fuse its power to expand business from Philippines, to Asia and now to Europe. This would be a big start of a whole new big corporation and whole new big family" Dad announced to everyone that made everyone so amazed. Amazed because of the expansion of the business and the fuse of both big companies. Confused because they heard the word family.

"Yes, you're hearing it right. Not just a fuse of corporation but also a fuse of family. Let me officially announce to all of you. The engagement of my very own daughter Jaylin Araño and Mr. Anton's only son. Now help me welcome Mr. Anthony Josh Valdez" everyone was so excited the very moment they announced the engagement. Napatayo ako ng biglang hinila ako sa Dad ni Jaylin at nakita kong hinila ni Dad si Jaylin. Then everyone raise their glass for a toss of the engagement.

However bigla akong nakaramdam ng kaba due to my peripheral view that Jaylin is actually looking at me so badly. Lumapit siya bigla sabay sabi "Ikaw? Ikaw yung ka lalaking ka engage ko? Ikaw si Anthony Josh Valdez? Bakit ikaw? Teka ha. Usap tayo"

"Uhm. Excuse me for a while I need to have a little chit-chat with this guy beside me" Jaylin then grab me without even waiting for their answers. However sa pag hila sa akin may mga narinig akong kinikilig sila. Tapos bagay daw kami.

Jaylin's POV

"All this time my stalker is my fiancé?" nasa patio kami ng restaurant at medyo tahimik at malayo sa mga tao.

"I told you I'm not your stalker, because I'm actually your fiancé" irap niya sa akin

"Wow ha. Kung makapag-irap lang. Wagas!" iritang sabi ko

"Hay. Lola. Bakit pa sa asungot nato? Bakit? Pinaparusahan mo po ba ako?" nakatingin ako sa itaas na parang nagdadasal

POK!

"Aray ha!" hinaplos ko ang noo ko kasi Aj poke my forehead

"Kung makapag sabing pinaparusahan. Wagas din!. Anong akala mo sa akin kasalanan?" iritang sabi niya habang napataas sa kilay niya

"Eh kasi. Ikaw pa. Mayabang. Feelingero at sobrang asungot"

"Ang oa Jaylin ha? Dalawang beses pa lang nga tayong nagkita tapos ganyan ka agad kong maka judge. Ang sakit ha. Wala ba kahit positive diyan?" pag pout ng lips niya

Then when I saw him pouting his lips. Hindi ko namalayan I was staring at it and then I remembered the very last time we met. He kissed me and I actually kissed him. I can't bear to make him remember that moment. Hmp. Nakakahiya.

"I know my lip is kissable so quit staring at it" napahinto ako sa pagtingin ng lips ni AJ.

"Whatever feelingero" irap ko sa kanya

"I know you like it. Wanna try it the second time around?" nilapit niya bigla yung mukha niya sa mukha ko. Hindi ako nakagalaw. Kinakabahan tuloy ako sa gagawin niya. Ano ba to. Tsk.

"Get away from me please?" I pushed him away para di matuloy kung ano man ang iniisip ng asungot na to.

"You really hate me that much do you?" napailing siya habang naka smile sa akin.

"Not that I hate you. Alam mo yung first meet natin. Tinawanan mo ako dahil umiyak ako dahil ni Baby Angel. Tapos sa second meet natin you eventually divirginized my virgin lips. Oh gosh. At isa pa sa isang Casanova na gaya mo"

"Huh? Just so you know ako yung na send ni Baby Angel sa condo mo. Tapos yung sa kiss. Ikaw kaya yung dahilan bakit nagkahalikan tayo. Remember lumingon ka at nahalikan mo ako?" oops. Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. He was the one who kept Baby Angel after all those days na nawala siya. Tapos tama siya. It was me who made him kiss me.

"Teka, it was an accidental kiss pero yung sa 2nd time. Ikaw yung nag hila sa akin palapit sayo at hinalikan mo ak----" pinutol niya ang sinabi ko and he interrupted

"Hinalikan kita which is FYI sinabayan mo ang pag halik ko. Right hon? Right babe? Right baby? Right fiancé? Right sexy?" he looked at me from head to foot and then he winked at me. So maniac but he's really hot and I hate this feeling.

"Why are we even talking about this? UGH!" nag walk-out ako para hindi niya ako mahalata na nadadala na naman ako sa hotness niya.

"Later my sexy fiancé" sigaw niya na mapang-asar sa akin

"By the way before tayo papasok sa loob. I just wanted to tell you from now on your mine and wala kang magagawa kundi ako na ang makakasama mo. So try giving me a chance na suyuin ka. Malay mo. You'll fall in love with me" I was about to open the door pero hinila niya ako that made me lean on the wall habang nilapit na naman niya ang mukha niya sa mukha ko

"Whateve----"biglang naputol ang pagsasalita ko when he eventually kiss me on my right cheeks then he rest his head on my shoulder for a moment

After how many seconds ay tumango siya at tinalikuran ako. He took one step towards the door sabay sabi "That's for making my life happy again" he winked at me at pumasok na pabalik sa room kung saan yung event ng announcement ng engagement namin.

Dug.dug.dug. Making him happy again? What does he mean? Ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko. I don't know but everytime magkalapit kami o may ginagawa siya sa akin kahit naasar ako o napipikon. He really affects me. My emotions and myself alone. Ano ba naman to. Tsk.
