Connor is healing great. He just started to actually play on the team, and he is pretty good considering he just was in a car accident.

Other than a few nasty glances Liam has stayed pretty distant from Connor. They have a home game today so Emma and I decide to go.

Before the game started Emma and I were sitting on the bleachers watching the boys warm-up. Daniel sees me and waves with a smile. I wave back.

"Man you guys are so cute together," Emma says.

"Thanks?"

"Like I wish I had a relationship like that."

"Well do you like anyone?"

"No," she replies fast.

"I know you're lying Emma."

"What makes you say that?"

"You replied quick. A little too quick. And also your getting red."

"Fine, you found out. But like the person and I have been friends forever and if that changes..."

"Oh no."

"Oh no what?"

"It's not Matt, is it?"

"Oh god no. Yea I've known him like forever, but no it's not him."

"Who is it then?"

"You wouldn't know him. He's my mom's friend's son."

"Ohhhh. Sorry continue what you were saying."

"Oh yea, so we have known each other for a long time, and if that changes I just think it would be weird."

"Well, do you like really like him?"

"I don't know, he's cute, but he kinda seems like the stereotypical "bad boy.""

"Ahhhh. Are you sure you like bad boys Emma? They don't really seem like your type."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, you're so nice and innocent."

"Innocent? You think i'm innocent?" I can tell she's getting mad.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have used that word. A "bad boy" doesn't seem like your type."

"You know nothing about him, you haven't even met him Callie."

"I know, I know, but you told me he was like the stereotypical "bad boy.""

"Well I shouldn't have said that."

"Okay."

The whistle blew, and the game began. We were silent the whole time. I hate the feeling of someone being mad at you. This isn't our first fight though. Before we got into fights, but they were little, and I can tell this one wasn't going to be little. I shouldn't have said the word innocent.

5 minutes into the game I apologize for calling her innocent. She says it's fine but I can tell she's still mad. I just have to give her some time. Not everyone is going to forgive you in 5 minutes.

Now that I apologize I decide to pay attention to the game. We were winning by a bit so the coach decides to put Connor in. When running to the other side of the court Liam shoves Connor to the ground.

"What the hell man!" Connor yells.

Liam just keeps on running until the referees call the whistle. Everyone but Liam goes up
to Connor to see if he's okay. Luckily he get's up fine, but he's limping. Connor goes to the bench and puts an ice pack on his leg. The coach doesn't take out Liam, even though he injured someone.

During halftime Emma goes to the bathroom and I walk up to Connor.

"What was that?" I ask.

"It was nothing, just forget it Callie."

"No, I won't. Connor you said Liam wasn't bothering you."

"And he's not, i'm fine."

"No you're not," I push.

I see Liam walking out of the locker room.

"Hey Liam!" I yell as I walk up to him.

He looks shocked that I called his name.

"Why the hell did you push Connor?" I ask almost yelling.

"No of your business."

"Yes it is. He's my brother."

"He caused my girlfriend to break up with me!" He raises his voice.

"So that gives you the right push him, to spike his drink, to get him into a car accident."

I immediately regret saying that. Within 2 seconds I see Liam's fist coming towards my face and then BOOM. It goes dark.
