No One's POV

Today was a dreadful day- it was Monday and the first day of going back to school. Jaemin wished he hadn't stayed up late during break because it was a real bitch waking up in the morning. He was just extremely unmotivated to do anything and slugged around his room while getting ready.

He tiredly and lazily styles his hair after putting on his uniform for school. He put his shoes on, got his school bag and walked out of his room, shutting the door behind him.

He entered the kitchen and greeted Mark with a lazy smile as his brother greeted him with a casual "yo". He wasn't surprised his parents weren't there as they usually left rather early for work. He then got some toast that Mark had made (it was basically the only thing Mark could make) and spread some butter and jam on them. Jaemin sat down next to Mark after getting a paper plate and placing his toast on it.

Mark and Jaemin then mainly ate in silence besides their small talk every few thirty seconds. After finishing their toast, they threw it away and Mark left the house in his small convertible. Mark usually didn't take Jaemin to school because Jaemin insisted on walking to school (little did Mark know, the sun-blonde only walked because Renjun did and he could spend more time with the slightly older boy that way).

After Mark had left, Jaemin did shortly after as well and was on his way to school. Renjun and Chenle usually met Jaemin a couple blocks away from the school as the two's houses were closer than Jaemin's and Renjun's were.

Jaemin soon reached a crossroad and waited for Renjun and Chenle to arrive. About three minutes later, the two were nearing towards him. All Jaemin could hear was complaining from Chenle for it being "too cold" and "too early".

"The cold and it being too early can't obviously be why you're being so salty? So, what is it?" Renjun asked, seeming tired, but at the same time excited for the day as he questioned Chenle.

"Hi guys." Jaemin greeted them as they finally stood beside him. Renjun waved with an enthusiastic smile that made Jaemin's heart skip yet another beat. Why did Renjun look especially gorgeous today? The brunette had styled his hair neatly to the side and had overall pulled off the boring school uniform fairly well.

"Hi, Jaemin." Chenle quickly said, instantly going back to his conversation with Renjun as the three boys crossed the street. "I'm really upset because Jisung said he couldn't make it to school because he's sick and I can't take care of him or help him because of stupid school! Plus, I'll be bored all day and have nothing to do during lunch because he said he's going to catch up on his sleep. And me, being the good boyfriend I am, will not interfere with my precious boyfriend's beauty sleep!"

"At least you have a happy relationship Chenle! My crush for over a year rejected me on Christmas!" Renjun joked, he had actually gotten over Jeno in really short amount of time (surprising everyone because of how whipped Renjun seemed).

"Yeah, plus, you can talk to us during lunch. You know, we are your friends after all." Jaemin added.

"Yeah, but it's not the same! I haven't seen Jisung in over a day and I miss him!" Chenle whined as the three neared the school.

Renjun and Jaemin shared an amused glance at the younger's small tantrum as they entered the school gates.

It was now lunch and Jaemin was rather hyper, but it was most likely the coffee Mark had given him when they entered the school. After sipping the coffee his mood had changed from being unmotivated to his usual hyper and joyful self. Hence why when the bell rang to go to lunch, he latched onto Donghyuck as he saw him in the hallway walking towards the cafeteria.

"Hi, Donggie!" He smiled widely.

Donghyuck sighed, but smiled nonetheless. "Hi."

Jaemin then walked next to Donghyuck as they neared the cafeteria. "So, how was break after new years? We didn't really talk much."

"Oh, nothing much. Slept, played some videos games, ate, those types of things." Donghyuck answered and then smirked. "So, how's your crush on Renjun going?"

Jaemin covered Donghyuck's mouth with two hands and glanced around frantically before glaring at Donghyuck. "Don't be too loud, what if someone heard?! What if Renjun heard?! And how do you know about it?!" Jaemin whisper yelled as he removed his hands from Donghyuck's mouth.

"Jisung told me. Plus, it was pretty obvious and Jisung telling me just proved my suspicion." Donghyuck said with a shrug before adding, "you should ask him out."

Jaemin flushed a bright red before firing back at the redhead. "Well, maybe you should actually man up and tell my brother about your disgusting crush on him!" He whispered yelled.

This time, it was Donghyuck's cheeks turn to flush a bright red. "H-hey! It's not as easy as it seems!"

"Exactly." Jaemin hissed.

"What are you two so fired up about?" Renjun asked, suddenly coming out of nowhere with a handmade lunch in his hands. He turned to Donghyuck and pointed at the redhead's face. "Why is your face so red, Donghyuck?"

"It's...nothing." Donghyuck said before putting a smile on his face. "Anyways, let's go get some food. I'm starved!"

Jaemin nodded and the two quickly walked into the cafeteria, leaving a confused Renjun behind before the slim boy ran towards them to catch up.
