No One's POV

Jaemin opened the door to his house and walked inside, Donghyuck following hesitantly after him. Meanwhile, Mark was being a lazy ass on the couch watching some show he didn't even have any interest in.

"Mark!" Jaemin called to get his attention, Mark turned his head and stared at his brother then to Donghyuck.

"Why's Donghyuck here?" Mark asked, genuinely confused as to why the redhead was here.

"I- um-"

"He's here to talk to you." Jaemin answered, saving Donghyuck from any future embarrassment.

"Well, okay then. I also have something to say, not to Donghyuck specifically, but I guess it's good that he knows too." Mark said with a smile, causing both Jaemin and Donghyuck to tilt their heads in confusion.

"What is it?" Jaemin asked.

"I am finally in a relationship! Her name is Reina {a/n bruh idek} and she's really nice!" Mark said with a wide smile.

Donghyuck's face fell as Jaemin stared at Mark in shock. Jaemin knew Donghyuck probably was everything but okay at the moment. He could tell by the way the redhead's eyes glistened with tears threatening to fall. He could tell by the way his lip quivered and how his eyebrows furrowed. Jaemin stared at his friend helplessly not knowing how to comfort him.

"Hyuck, are okay...?" Jaemin whispered even when he knew he wasn't, but asked to give some sort of comfort to Donghyuck.

Mark seemed to notice their sorrowful gazes and Donghyuck's tear filled eyes just waiting to fall. "What's wrong?" He asked softly.

"I- I have to go..." Donghyuck said and opened the door.

"Donghyuck..." Jaemin started, but trailed off as he saw Donghyuck stare back at him with a sad gaze, wanting to be alone as a single tear rolled down his face.

Jaemin watched as his friend ran out of the house and closed the door. He couldn't do anything but watch as his friend ran away from sight, heartbroken.
