Chapter 4: and then Jess arrived

Jess’s POV

I was so excited to finally meet my idols. I ran to the address Georgia sent me, I was so excited. Georgia met me out the front and we walked in together. There were hundreds of girls screaming their heads off and I felt so lucky to be able to meet One Direction.

“Hey babe,” Georgia yelled, hugging me tightly.

“Can’t breathe,” I gasped. She simply cracked up laughing.

“Well come along loser,” she instructed and we linked arms and made our way towards the elevators.

“So what did the other girls think?” Georgia asked me once we were in the elevator.

“Shaniah was grumpy that you didn’t ask her and Emma was sad because she didn’t get to meet Niall, ‘the sex god’ as she put it,” I replied, she laughed and laughed at that, I waited for her to stop before continuing, “and everyone else didn’t really care.”

“Well then let’s go to their room,” she said dragging me out of the elevator, “whatever you do don’t scream, ok?”

I nodded becoming incredibly nervous.

We knocked on their door and Liam answered grinning, “Come on in, I’m Liam.”

I giggled, “I know I love you guys.”

Georgia walked up to the wall and bashed her head against it, which she does whenever I say something really stupid.

Louis walked up and slung an arm around Georgia’s shoulder.

“Whatcha doin’?” Louis asked.

“Bashing my head against a wall because Jess is an idiot,” she replied shrugging.

“Well come on the Jess!” she yelled at me, I must have spaced out for a minute or two.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

She bashed her had on the wall again, “into the lounge room jess.”

“Oh.”

She lead me into the lounge room to see all the boys, Niall on the couch eating a bag of chips, Louis sitting on the couch, but upside down so his legs hung over the back of it, Harry was sitting next to him watching Georgia, Zayn was sprawled along the floor playing on his phone an Liam looking at movies.

“GUYS!” Georgia yelled, she seemed amazingly comfortable around them. The boys looked up startled and Georgia giggled.

“Guys this is one of my best friends Jess,” she said, back to her normal tone which was still pretty loud, “oh and whatever you don’t make her sing, she sounds like a tone deaf walrus.”

All the boys were laughing but I was beetroot red and giggling because it was true.

“Hi,” I said smiling and waving a little. Louis front flipped of the couch and ran up to say hello.

“I think tone deaf walrus’s are pretty hot,” he whispered to me blushing a little. My jaw hit the floor.

“Oi Jess, shut your trap, you’ll start catching flies!” Georgia yelled from across the room where she was sitting next to Harry and having whispered conversations. Georgia seemed to really like him, I’d seen her with a lot of guys but somehow this seemed different.

Louis noticed me watching her, “they would be cute together huh?”

“Oh gosh yeah, but whatever you do don’t let her hear you say that, she will kill you,” I said agreeing with him.

“Why is that?” he asked me.

“Because she says that ‘you can’t base a relationship on the cute factor’ and well she just likes to hurt people,” I said shrugging.

“Cute factor?” he asked.

“How cute two people would be together, she gets told it all the time by her friends when she hangs out with guys,” I answered.

“Guys come on; let’s watch a movie or something!” Georgia whined from next to Harry

“Yeah, alright, which one?” Liam asked.

“I dunno, someone pick one,” she replied. I knew it was because she was to comfortable sitting next to Harry.

“PARANORMAL ACTIVITY!” Louis screeched from where he was standing next to me. For some reason we were still in the doorway of the living room.

“Ugh no! I have never ever seen a scary movie and I’d rather not start with that one thanks,” Georgia replied.

They began having a little fight over it and somehow Georgia lost.

She grumbled and went back to sit next to Harry

“Don’t worry babe, I’ll look after you,” harry said to her, draping his arm around her shoulders. She looked up at him and grinned. It seemed as though they were in their own little world.

“NO HAZZA! DON’T GIVE IN TO HER CHARM!” Louis shouted, sobbing into my shoulder. I laughed and patted his back.

“Look what you have done to the poor boy!” I chastised harry, “his heart has been broken, you evil child.”

“Oh gosh Lou if you’re going to act like that you can have him,” Georgia said laughing while Harry pouted at her statement.

“Georgia how sweet of you…” I said and looking out the window the same time as Louis.

“KEVIN!!!” We screamed running to the window and waving goodbye to the pigeon.

Everyone cracked up laughing and so we settled on the floor and couches to watch the movie. Georgia sat with her legs tucked underneath her with her head leaning against Harry’s chest, basically in his lap, I sat on the floor in front of Georgia with Louis to my right and Harry’s legs to my left, Niall sat next to Georgia and Liam and Zayn were sprawled in front of Louis and I.

The move was really scary. At several points I heard Georgia scream and then somehow she ended up in Harry’s lap. I freaked out a couple times two jumping onto Louis, he simply stroked my back watching the movie intently.

By the time it was finished Georgia’s mum had arrived to take us back home. We said goodbye everyone seeming glum that we had to go. We exchanged phone numbers and then we had to leave. Georgia’s mum dropped me off home and all I could think of was Lou
