Georgia’s POV
My best friend was heartbroken because of a mistake and it was killing not only her but me as well to see her so sad. Of course, Louis being Harry’s best friend went to comfort him, so I went and did the same to Jess. Louis and I had switched rooms so there was no awkwardness. Well the least amount as possible. In about two hours we were going to the airport to go to London, I was extremely excited and I could just tell jess was too, it got her mind off Louis for a little while so that was a definite good thing.
I was all packed and ready when Harry came for a visit to see how everything was going. He strolled in as I was just finishing packing. Not that I actually had much to pack as I had recently un-packed and then re-packed but whatever.
He walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pecking me on the cheek, “Hey Georgie, how’s things with Juddy?”
I sighed, relaxing into his arms, “She seems ok now but I don’t know what will happen, she seemed pretty upset.”
“I know what you mean bebs, Lou seems a bit lost without her, you know what I mean,” he sighed.
“Oh well,” I turn to him, “Just got to put some faith into something I’m don’t really believe in.”
He frowned at me, “And what’s that?”
“The most amazing heartbreaking crushing beautiful thing in the world,” I replied, “love.”
His frown got deeper, “You don’t believe in love?”
I shrugged pulling away and fiddling with my bag, “Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s there and it’s like really obvious in the way people react to each other. But I just don’t want to get hurt by something like that.”
I heard Harry sigh at me, “Georgia, is this the thing that you meant the other day? When you said you were breaking everything you had ever said?”
I nodded slightly tearing up, “And everyone is trying to ruin it for me.”
Harry wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to his chest.
“I love you, I don’t care what others say, you’re the only one I want, no one can say anything different,” he whispered to me. I grinned at him as tears began to fall.
“I love you too, with every fiber in my being,” I whispered back to him.
He pulled me close and held me as I sobbed quietly into his chest. I finally hiccupped into silence and looked at him.
“Thanks Haz,” I smiled, “For putting some faith back into the world.”
He kissed my cheek, “That’s ok babe.”
We finally broke apart and he quickly helped me finish packing. It only took about 15 minutes and we were rushed down to the lobby. We broke apart, I ran to Jess and he ran to Louis. This flight was going to be extremely awkward.
Jess’s POV
We were finally going to London, I was excited and Georgia was doing everything possible to keep my mind off of…him. We hadn’t talked and I didn’t really want to. I had sort of gotten over him and I decided I may as well be the bigger person and go and try to make conversation.
I quickly pulled Georgia out of her conversation with Niall, “I want to talk to Louis,” I whispered to her.
She nodded and pulled me into a hug, “Do you want me to come?”
I thought for a second and nodded, “Yes please…and Georgia, thank you for being so amazing through all of this.”
She grinned at me, “Hey it was about time I paid you back, you look after me all the time.”
She linked arms with me and we walked over to Harry and Louis. I took a deep breath and smiled.
“Hey boys,” I said brightly. Both of the boys looked at me in shock. Georgia quickly punched Harry.
“Err hey Jess,” he stuttered out, he quickly punched Louis who was still gawking at me. Louis slapped his arm away giving him a dirty look.
“Hey Jess,” he replied to me stressing slightly it seemed.
“Soo… how is everything?” I asked awkwardly. ‘It’s for the good of everything,’ I told myself holding my smile on my face.
“Um yeah good I guess,” Louis replied, “Can I talk to you in private for a second?”
I had no idea what he wanted so I nodded and let go of Georgia’s arm. She caught me hand and gave it a squeeze. I turned and nodded at her showing it would be ok. I followed Louis to a secluded corner of the lobby and waited for him to speak.
“So, look, Jess I’m so-,”
“No don’t Lou, let’s just be friends ok? You can’t just go and do that and expect me to take you back as easy as that,” I said cutting him off, “If you want me back Lou you’re gonna have to fight for me.”
I turned on my heal and tried not to run back to Georgia. She smiled at me weakly and I smiled back at her just as weakly.
Paul rounded us all up and put us into the van ready to get going. Lou seemed pretty glum but I really wasn’t sure why I felt so bad. Yes I had said all that stuff but it needed to be said and he made no effort to get me back.
Louis’s POV
She wanted me to fight for her then that’s what I would do. I pulled Georgia aside knowing she was good at the gooey romantic stuff.
“George she wants me to fight for her, what should I do?” I begged her.
“Hmm some devious scheming, I’m in,” she replied with an evil grin. I laughed at her.
“So what do I do?” I asked her, I felt extremely desperate.
“Umm let me think about it and I’ll text you ok?” she asked.
“Yeah sure, we better catch up,” I ran from her. She laughed and chased after me.
