Alan's POV
I smiled as I laid in bed beside Vic. I'd ended up staying over last night since he and I were hanging out for most of the day. It was Sunday, so I had to go get Benji by two this afternoon. It was going on twelve now and Vic had gotten up at one point but only to help Rosie get ready since she was going to spend the day with her grandma, so she was gone for the day.
"I have to get up and get ready," I said to him between kisses.
"No you don't," he said, pressing his lips against my jaw.
"Yeah and then I have to go pick up my Benji boy. I've missed him."
"I know," he said, still holding me tight to him.
"I just don't wanna see Becca," I sighed.
"I can imagine, she sounds like the worst."
"She kinda is, but she tries to be a good mom or at least I hope she tries."
"I'm sorry babe," he said softly.
"It's okay, it's not your fault I was a stupid teenager and got a dumb girl pregnant. I shoulda tried for someone nice at least."
"Everyone does stupid shit, at least you got Benji out of it all," he told me.
"I know, he's my world and I'd do anything for that little boy. He's the best."
"He really is amazing," Vic said. "Just like his dad."
"You're so sweet. Benji thinks you're amazing," I said, "Like he loves you Vince."
"I'm really, really glad," Vic said, grinning. "I love him too."
"You better because my kid's amazing."
"Your kid is the best little boy I've ever met," he said honestly.
"I know, I raised him right."
"Yeah you did," Vic said and pressed a kiss to my lips. I smiled against his lips holding his cheek as I kissed him softly.
"You did pretty good with Rosie too," I said when we pulled apart and Vic snorted.
"Nah, it's all her mom's doing."
"I think you're doing a great job."
Vic smiled at me. "Thank you, I'm just glad Rosie is such an easy kid."
"She is."
"She's amazing," Vic said and gave me a kiss. "And so are you."
"Thanks Vince."
"It's no problem."
"I do have to get up now," I said.
"No," he said, holding me tight to him.
"Yes, I have to go pick up my son."
"Fine," he mumbled, pouting.
"You can come with."
"Alright," Vic said and sat up.
"It'll be great. Benji will be happy to see you."
"I know, it's because I'm amazing," he said with a small smile.
"You're pretty great," I said before I got up from the bed. I grabbed my shirt and pants from the floor and slipped them on. "Ready?"
"Yeah, whenever you are," he said.
I smiled and grabbed his hand before we both went downstairs. We put on our shoes before we went out to my car and I was driving to Becca's.
"I can't wait to see Benji," I said happily.
