Vic's POV

I smiled as I woke up to find Alan curled up against one side of me and Rosie and Benji both fast asleep on the other. This was actually the best way to wake up.

"Quit moving, 'm comfy," Alan mumbed, pressing his hand on my chest, not opening his eyes.

"Quit talking, Mr. Alan, I'm sleepy," Rosie whined. Initially we had been watching a movie in a blanket fort in the living room when we had all fallen asleep.

"Tell your daddy to stop moving and I'll stop talking," Alan said.

"Shut up!" Benji shouted and I chuckled, pulling him closer to me. "Mr. Vic, tell them to be quiet, I'm tired."

"No one ever listens to me, Buddy," I told him honestly.

"That's dumb, everyone should," he muttered before falling back to sleep on my shoulder.

"I can't move," I whispered to Alan once I was sure that Benji was back to sleep.

"You don't need to," He whispered back.

"I need to pee," I told him a Rosie crawled over and laid on Alan's arm.

"What about Benji?" He asked opening his eyes slightly and looking at his son who was cuddled up tight to me.

"I don't know," I whined.

"You can't move."

"Ash, I really, really have to pee," I told him quietly.

He shrugged, "Give him here."

"No," Benji said, suddenly awake and holding me tighter.

"Benji, he has to go potty," Alan told him.

"You'll come back, right?" Benji asked me.

I nodded, "I'll be right back."

"Okay," He said letting me go. He looked up at me and frowned. "Promise you'll come back?"

"I promise."

Benji frowned but nodded his head and clung to Alan.  Ever since Alan had told Benji about Becca he's been basically clinging to us.  He was constantly scared that I was going to leave and I didn't know what to do anymore.  It was getting to a point where he'd freak out when we had to bring him to school even.  Alan was at his wits end and whenever the two of them went home, Benji freaked out.  It sucked and I mean i love the kid to death, but this was becoming a lot for him to constantly be acting like this. I had an idea on how to make it at least a little better for him but I didn't know how Alan would feel about it or if he thought it would make us go too fast.  I didn't want to freak him out or anything. I finished up in the bathroom and headed back to the blanket fort and got back on the pallet of blankets and picked Benji up as I laid back down.

The little boy clung onto me tightly, holding Alan's hand as well.

"Hey Buddy," I said with a smile and kissed the top of his head softly. "Did you sleep well last night?"

He shrugged, "It was okay."

"Yeah?" I asked and sat up and Benji climbed up onto my lap.

"Yeah, okay," He said.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked him.

"I don't know."

"Well, why don't you talk to your dad about it? I gotta go talk to Rosie really fast," I told him, shaking Rosie's shoulder until she woke up and glared at me.

"What?" She groaned.

"I gotta talk to you about something super duper important, get up brat," I said.
