"So are we going to the ancient lands of this so called 'mall' now?" Jin asked me as we left the cafe after my co-worker had arrived to take over from my ending shift.

I had to admit that I was surprised Jin hadn't become bored during the hours that he had to stay seated in the corner of the room. At one point he even shared a seat with an elderly woman who looked as if she could almost see the angel of the hour.

It was so strange to me, but I didn't question it.

"Yes Jin," I began as I approached a small machine and began to press on the screen to purchase myself a train ticket, "we are going to the mall. Once we are there we can get you some new clothes and we can get you out of that toga."

Jin looked down to his clothing and shrugged his shoulders before he began following me towards the platform I had to be on.

"Do they sell toga's there? Or will we have to purchase those lame hand-me-down robes?" Jin asked, an unimpressed look washing over his face as if he were picturing a bad memory.

"Uh, no. You can wear normal clothes. We might have to make holes in some of the shirts for your wings but you won't have to wear any hand-me-downs." I assured the angel who seemed all too happy with my reply as we took a seat at a platform bench.

"Good. Cause trust me when I tell you the hand-me-downs give off a really bad rash. Like I mean down right awful, it spreads all around-"

I cut him off before he could finish his sentence. I saw where his hand was gesturing and I just did not need that imagery in my mind during that time. Especially after just finishing work.

"Yeah no I understand, Jin. You don't have to elaborate for me." I consoled the man before our train rolled into the station and drew to a halt. Once it had fully stopped and the doors had opened, passengers came out of the train as well as entering it.

"This is a mighty fine vessel," Jin commented as he observed the train and touched the sides of it, his eyes widening like a child's, "cold to the touch!"

"Come on Jin, we need to get onto it before the doors shut." In my worry of missing the train I reached over and grabbed Jin's hand before I yanked him into the train carriage just before the doors closed and bolted shut as it began to depart from the station.

"This is a loud room...and the room also moves?" Jin asked me as he gripped my hand tightly, standing behind me and staring out of the window with horror in his eyes, "this world is scary."

I gently pulled him along with me to an empty section where I offered Jin the window seat and I sat in the seat closest to the walkway.

"This is a train Jin, they have wheels that go along sets of tracks and take people to where they need to be and the best thing is that you can enjoy a view while travelling."

"This mall is even louder than the train," Jin noted, making use of the new vocabulary that he was learning, "and this holds so many mortals."

"People," I corrected him as I walked along the outer edge of the passing people so that I wouldn't loose Jin in the rush, "mortals are called people."

I heard a soft 'ah' from Jin as he started to look around at the stores with neon light displays, his eyes fixed to the different kind of contents that the store was promoting.

"I'm surprised that this mall has so many rooms. It's even bigger than the mans-," he stopped himself from saying mansion, "apartment block, that you live in (Y/N)."

I smiled to him almost like I was a teacher who was proud of their student for learning so much in a short amount of time. His beaming face told me that he to was impressed with his own efforts as well.

"Hey," Jin said as he pointed to a store across the mall with a grin on his face which caused his eyes to wrinkle in the most adorable way, "can we have a look at that store?"

I looked over to the store he was gesturing to before my eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

Gucci

"I'm not that rich Jin..." I began as I quickly grabbed onto his wrist and pulled him into a store that better suited my budget for Jin's clothes, "lets try in here first."
