Sunlight.
It was peering through my curtains as the morning sun rose up from the horizon it was slumbering behind, prepared to serve out its duty of kissing the earths surface with its wonderful blessing.
In the corner of my room sat Seokjin with his eyes closed and his palms placed in his lap. His wings, in all their glory, returned the glow of the suns beams and looked even more breath taking than usual. Seokjin had decided to try on his new clothes during the night- he now wore a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. He seemed to like them the most.
I sat up in my bed within the mass of my covers and yawned as I stretched my arms up above my body to get it prepped for the day.
Instantly, Seokjin's eyes opened and he was looking to me with a grin on his face. His eyes were always shining with heavy amounts of hope that anyone who was lucky enough to meet eyes with him was overwhelmed with the sincerity of his emotion.
"Good morning, (Y/N). Did you sleep well?" Seokjin asked, this being his same greeting for every morning I woke up in his presence. I returned his smile in a genuine nature before pulling myself from my covers as I slipped some slippers onto my feet.
"I slept very well actually, the best I've slept in a very long time." I told him as I rubbed the back of my neck and walked out of my bedroom with the angel following in hot pursuit.
"Ah I was hoping you would say that! I decided to use a spell on you that I was taught," he sat at the kitchen bench and began to speak mostly with his hands, "the spell is one made to relieve stress and negative feelings or emotions through sleep. I'm pleased with the results as well. Your skin is glowing this morning!"
Seokjin's compliment made me giggle as I placed some bread in the toaster and retrieved the butter from the fridge.
"Well I have you to thank then don't I. So thank you. But next time, maybe you should talk to me about casting spells on me." I genuinely wasn't offended by Seokjin's innocent gesture. But I didn't want him thinking he could start using me as a guinea pig for his spells all the time.
"I'll take note of that-"
SMASH
Seokjin and I were stunned by the sudden and abrupt smashing of one of my windows as a glowing orb of pure light began to flicker in between the shards of broken glass.
"What is that?!" I cried out in shock, Seokjin's expression looked muched more concerned than shocked.
"Ah- it's a message from the heavens." He said as he stood up from the stool and walked over to the orb. He stood before it, being careful of the glass shards, and raised his hand above it. It instantly shot up into his palm and it produced a hologram within its smooth and slick surface.
I peered around Seokjin's arm and watched as yet another angel appeared on the surface of the glowing orb.
"Kim Seokjin, the council has seen your efforts to protect the prophetic one and we commend you on your efforts. However, this message has been sent to you to alert you that you can't afford to let your guard down. Kim (Y/N) must not be harmed in anyway, whether it be by a demon's hand or a simple accident.
I look forward to seeing the rest of your progress"-
The angel paused and looked off to the side before sighing and turning back to face us while rubbing the bridge of his nose to relieve his obvious stress.
"And Seokjin, Yoongi says hello."
The hologram disappeared and Seokjin let out a gentle but sad chuckle as the orb floated out of his palm and retraced its steps. It went back through the broken window and the glass shards were put back into their place as well. This left the window looking as if it had never been smashed in the first place.
"Who were those angels, Seokjin?" I asked him curiously as he took back his seat on the stool. His wings were slightly drooped down now, they weren't perky or shining nearly as brightly.
"The angel speaking was the council leader, Namjoon and Yoongi is my best friend. He is the one that I miss the most..." he trailed off and looked down to his hands as if he had suddenly become interested in them.
I took up the stool next to Seokjin and looked to him with a confused and sympathetical expression caught on my face.
"If you miss your best friend so much, then why did you choose to protect me?" I asked him and watched as his head gently shook.
"I didn't have a choice. I was chosen, just like anyone being chosen for anything. It is an angels duty to protect their mortal," he turned his head to me with a smile that looked awfully like a smirk, "I just got stuck with one that is of the utmost importance."
I shook my head with a grin on my face as I let out a soft sigh before looking back to the angel, "I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not."
Seokjin grinned, his pearly whites shinning effortlessly against his skin as he leaned against the counter top, and spoke in a soft tone; "everything and anything I say to you will always be nothing but compliments, (Y/N)."
My heart had become very fond of the creature that I had thought was mythical until I found him in that dumpster. It goes to show that being curious sometimes isn't such a bad thing, as long as your intentions are good and true.
"You're a flirt," I told him to cover up my bashful expression as I made my way to the fridge to grab some things for breakfast while Seokjin sat behind me, chuckling.

"I'm sorry master," Taehyung begged to the Dark Lord, who's feet he groveled underneath, his eyes leaking acid to substitute for tear glands. Taehyung was dissapointed in himself for not being useful to his master. He felt as if he was going to be nothing unless he gained the approval that he desperately lingered for.
After his encounter with Seokjin, Taehyung has been rebirthed from the fiery lake of hell to serve his master once more. Taehyung was the only one The Dark Lord made sure was rebirthed everytime.
The dark lord sat forward and gently cupped Taehyung's face within his hands, his fingertips clawed and taloned with the blood and despair of the damned souls he led down the wrong path, raising him slowly up to look into his eyes.
"These things happen my sweet, sweet Taehyung. Do not ever think I will harm you for what failure you might endure," the master that Taehyung was begging to just moments before was now lifting Taehyung up off of the soot covered stairs and onto his lap which was covered by the armour he wore.
If you looked close enough, you could see all the damned souls he lured to their early deaths.
"I love you, Taehyung, my most precious creation," the dark lord whispered sweetly into the ear of his favoured demon, "you'll make it up to me. I know you will- now say your masters name." The Dark Lord was now begging to Taehyung in a way that was so demanding and yet it felt so erotic.
"My master, The Dark Lord, Jungkook." Taehyung purred out, just as his master had asked.
