"Gods help me!" I shouted while my hands grabbed hold of Jin's shirt and refused to let go for even a moment while we began to soar around the city's night sky.

Jin's amusement was uncanning as he began to manoeuvred me onto his back, despite me desperately clinging to him. There was a very soft place for my to grab hold, just behind his wings where my arms and legs could comfortably wrap around his torso.

You can bet your bottom dollar when I tell you that I held on for dear life.

The wind was so strong that it had pulled my hair tie out and my hair was now flowing behind me while I rested my head against Jin's back.

I didn't want to sit up, but something in me urged me to look. To have a peak. To open my eyes.

I listened for a moment. I could hear the wind sure but the beating of Jin's wings was so calming. His feathers would gently rub against one another with each mighty flap against the air.

With my ear against his back, I listened to his heartbeat. It was normal, not ecstatic but clam and composed. While I listened to his rhythm I gently unlatched one of my hands and reached out for the wing closest to me.

My hand gently caressed the joint to his back. I let out a soft hum as I felt their softness between my fingers. That's when I heard Jin's heart rate increase.
The more I caressed his wing, the more ecstatic he would become.

It was quiet adorable, not to mention calming.

I took in a big breath and thought about my childhood. All the dreams and fantasies that were surpressed by the control of my parents from an early age. All of the things I didn't get to explore in my youth.

I let all of it go and sat up with my hands gripping the back of Jin's shirt. I scrunched up my face against the cold night wind before slowly opening my eyes and taking in a sharp breath.

I had always seen the city from my window, but soaring above it brought a whole new perspective. The lights and tall buildings were below me, the traffic looking like a long line of flowing fireflies below me as everyone tried to make way to their destinations.

"It's breath taking.." I whispered as I lifted my arms up to my sides and enjoyed the cold wind against my arms as we continue to soar across the nights sky.

The overwhelming joy that I was feeling would last me a life time.

"Wait (Y/N)," Jin suddenly flipped, pushing me up off of his back and catching me in his arms- almost trying to smother me into his chest.

"What's the matter?" I mumbled against his chest, my hands pinned up by my face as Jin began to make fast pace back to the apartment.

"Your aura is too bright," Jin began, letting out a nervous chuckle, "it's actually kind of funny. But at the same time extremely dangerous. I need to hide you a bit better so get under my shirt."

"W-WHAT!?" I screeched as one of Jin's hands began lifting up his shirt and revealing his chisled torso. I tried not to stare but I was impartial to. His body looked like it had been carved from stone itself.

"Please, I need to mask your aura a little better." I could hear that he only meant well and was desperate to protect me.

I let out a heavy sigh as I pulled his shirt over my head and pulled it down so my top half was covered. I immediately felt the warmth of his skin touch my cheek's and hands as I adjusted to my new location. His scent was so intoxicating that I almost wanted to fall asleep then and there.

Jin's arms held me closely while his wings carried the both of us safely to the apartment's window sil at an amazing speed. The amount of wind that came off his wings with each mighty beat astounded me.

"I like flying," I told Jin as I closed my eyes for a moment, "it's amazing."

Jin's heartbeat sped up for a moment, only for him to stop it with a deep sigh and a soft chuckle as he began to slow down.

"We can work on some aura exercises so that we can fly together more often if that's what you want." Jin spoke softly and sincerely as he perched himself on the window sil and carefully crawled back through the window- still holding me close to his chest until he was balanced on his own two feet.

I raised the shirt up over my body and pulled it back down over Jin, my hair a ruffled mess but a smile on my face reguardless,

"I'd love that!" I beamed as I closed the window and turned back towards the kitchen, "now I've got to make some food because all of that excitement made me hungry."

I stood below the building, watching Seokjin return to the mortal's residence. It was remarkable to see the pesterous angel in the sky again, I could've sworn that the injury that my master inflicted upon his decent to this mortal realm would've been enough to cripple him for a lot longer.

It was annoying how quickly he had recovered, it was most probably that stupid prophetic mortal's work.

What made her so special? What was so different about her? She is average, not special. Just because she is fueled by happiness and not despair doesn't mean she is anything amazing.

"You just wait Seokjin," I said to myself as I watched my dagger glint in the moon's reflection, "I'll take everything away from you...."
