namjoon sat alone at a table for the past half hour, just thinking. it was a reoccurring part in his daily routine. he would always schedule in some time to come and just hang out at this specific coffee shop. he has been continuously coming here for the past month now.eating his donut, he directs his gaze to the store front when he heard the small bells' on the door chime like they always did.
he was interested to see the sight of an unfamiliar man. a man he'd never seen enter this shop before. well, in the past month at least. namjoon had to admit, he was beautiful.
he seemed so perfect. everything about him looked to be sculpted flawlessly. from his dusty rose coloured pink hair, to his fluffy, bright lips. he now instantly wanted to find out more about the man. he watches as this unknown stranger walks to the counter, ordering something. namjoon acts as if he hadn't already ordered anything, and goes to stand behind the man in line; desperate to be near him.
he smelt so.. refreshing, in a way? something about his aura appeared to be warm and welcoming, and namjoon appreciated it. overall, the man held a main smell of vanilla, which gave namjoon the sudden urge to hug him. he snaps out of his daydreaming, when he hears the cashier speak to the man. "you're a dollar short, sir" they inform. the man reaches into his pocket, and frustratedly sighs, pulling it out with nothing in hand. he then apologizes with, "i'm sorry, i don't have enough". namjoon looks downward, completely shocked. his eyes went wide and his jaw dropped. his voice was breathtaking. it was low, yet high at the same time. a voice you couldn't explain.
namjoon hesitated at first, but shakes it off, pulling a dollar out of his pocket. he reaches forward, handing it to the cashier. the man's forehead creases a bit at the kind action namjoon had just done, and looks over at him. "you really don't need t-" "yes, but i wanted to" namjoon gives a small smile back.

"do you come here often?" the man asks, taking a sip of his coffee. namjoon giggles a bit at what his response was going to be. "everyday for the past month". "oh, wow! you must be real close with the employees by now, yeah?" "kinda" namjoon replies. "anyways, what brings you here? i've never seen you around.." "i just moved here. i'm currently looking for a place" he explains, resting the side of his head against his hand. "hey, i never got to catch your name!" jin remembered, mentally facepalming at his stupidity.
"namjoon. most people call me joonie, or joon, though" he blushes.
"if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" namjoon curiously asks. honestly, the man looked quite a few years younger than namjoon. his body seemed a bit smaller in size, and there didn't seem to be even one imperfection in his face. he looked quite young... maybe twenty? "twenty five" he replies, embarrassedly. jin figures that the boy probably felt weird now that he knew how old he was.
namjoon's eyes expand in disbelief at his claim, refusing to accept it. the man was five years from turning thirty?! "what? there's no way!" "do i look older?" jin asks, chuckling at his response. "no, it's just the opposite. i thought that for sure you'd be younger than me! you really don't look twenty five." "oh, thank you" jin smiles again, causing namjoon's heart to flutter. he was so pretty when he smiled.
"wait.. how old are you? twenty?" "twenty three, actually" namjoon corrects, unable to stop staring at the man's many features. all of them being gorgeous and unblemished. "really?". namjoon nods, flustered.
jin pulls out his phone to check the time, from what namjoon assumed, and exhales disappointedly. "i should get going now.. but it was great talking to you!" the elder beams, getting up from his seat.
"hey, um.. what's your name?" namjoon asks.
jin blushes. "seokjin, but you can call me jin".
