jin was awaken by the luminous sunlight pouring through the thin white curtains of namjoon's bedroom, groaning when the vibrant light hit his face. he was a bit surprised when he realized that namjoon had disappeared from the bed. oddly, this was a bit disappointing to jin. but why?
the light soon became intolerable, causing the tired boy to run his hand over his surroundings on the bed. when his hand came in contact with what was surely a pillow, he grabbed it, gently placing it atop of his face; all while his eyes were closed. just as he was on the verge of falling back to sleep, jin feels someone- who he could only assume was namjoon- shake him. the tired individual lifts his head, squinting to see who exactly he'd expected. "i made you breakfast" namjoon gives a warm smile.

"what'd he say?" namjoon walks back into the room, curiously asking. "uh, he said that i can't come pick it up today... b-because they're busy" he stutters.
namjoon wanted to jump with joy when jin gave him this response more than anything, but knew that he obviously couldn't, so he simply just nodded. "okay" he calmly responds.
jin knew something was wrong the second he lied. he was literally lying to spend more time with namjoon, which was not a good sign. it all seemed too familiar and that was when jin realized he'd done the exact same for his ex, before they'd started dating. but jin knew very well that this could not happen again. after everything that'd happened with his ex, developing feelings for someone was no longer on his plate. probably not even an option anymore, actually. jin just couldn't go through it again.
