namjoon lifts his head from his phone, and sighs. he knew that 2 hours to be at a park was too long, but he dreaded trying to convince miyoon to leave.
finally, he realized that he had to suck it up. it was time to go - so he needed to be the boring, responsible parent and ruin miyoon's fun. miyoon had made a few friends in the area over time, and one of them happened to be at the park with his dad at the same time namjoon and miyoon had arrived. so, miyoon was off playing with him while the dad supervised.
namjoon picks himself up from the bench, and goes in search of miyoon. after a while of searching and no luck finding him whatsoever, namjoon decides to look for the friend. he scrunches his eyebrows when the friend and his dad were getting ready to leave, and miyoon was nowhere to be seen.
namjoon obviously now getting worried, rushes to the father and greets him quickly. "wasn't miyoon was with you guys?" he asks. his heart was racing.
"no. i thought he was with you...?" namjoon's eyes go wide. "w-what? no, i thought he was with you! weren't the kids playing together?" "yes, but miyoon told us he was going to go find you..." namjoon feels his heart drop.
where the hell was his son?!
"what?!!" namjoon practically shouts. "i'm so sorry, we really have to get going. but please feel free to call me if you need anything!" the man takes his child and heads off to their car. namjoon runs a hand through his hair. he begins to feel tears form in his eyes. there's no way this was happening.
"miyoon?!" namjoon calls out. "miyoon?!!!" he screams endlessly, but still, nothing.
his heart pounding, he grabs his phone and dials the first person that comes to his mind.
"hello?" "jin, oh god. i'm so worried, i don't know what to do." he shakily exhales, tears escaping his eyes. "why, what happened?" jin raises an eyebrow. "miyoon! i- i can't f-find him!" he cries. "what do you mean you can't find him?!" "i lost him, i d-don't know what to d-do" namjoon sobs, still looking around for any sight of his son. jin rushes his words, throwing himself out of bed.
"call the police, i'm on my way"
