"you're back...?" namjoon asks, in shock.
"yeah" he embarrassedly stutters. great, now the man would think he was a stalker. "perfect! i was getting a bit lonely" namjoon chuckles, pulling out the chair beside him, clearly gesturing for the man to sit in it. jin kindly smiles, gladly obliging and leaning back into the chair once he was seated. namjoon noticed the phone jin had placed on the table, examined the case. "oh, you like bt21?" jin's eyes lit up at the mention of it. "yeah! my f-favourite is rj." he shyly picks up his phone, staring at the case as he spoke.
"you don't need to be ashamed," he giggles, pulling out his own phone. he turns it on, handing the phone to jin. jin was surprised to see that his wallpaper had been set to a picture of the bt21 character, koya. koya was a small, light blue koala, who loved to sleep.
"i was actually planning on going to the bt21 shop after i was finished eating here..." namjoon informs, taking the phone from jin. "would you like to join me?"

"and my second favourite is shooky. he's so small and cute!" jin continued, sipping at his smoothie. they both walked around the bt21 store, basically searching around for anything that caught their eye. "mine is mang" namjoon adds, giving a dimpled smile as he looked down to the back of the store where the mang merchandise was displayed. "koya!!" jin exclaims, running toward the koya display on his right. namjoon follows, watching as the man grabbed a pillow of koya's head and squeezed it ever so slightly. he looks back up at namjoon, handing it to him. namjoon's expression became confused, unaware as to what jin was implying.
"here, i'll buy it for you!" namjoon finally catches a hold of what the man was thinking, his eyes going wide. he was quick to shake his head no, though. "what? no, you don't have to-" "it's for the coffee you bought me yesterday... now we'll be even." "but a coffee was only like five dollars! this is so much mor-" "it's not a problem, really!" jin assures, already walking over to the cash registers.
before namjoon knew it, they were waiting in line. "jin, honestly... i don't need one. you don't need to do this". the elder shakes his head, cutting namjoon off. "nonsense. and plus, if i don't buy you anything in return of you buying me a coffee, i'll feel guilty".
the two step up to the front of the line, making their way to an available cashier. after paying, jin hands the bag over to namjoon. "thank you, jin" he beams, claiming the bag.
after a while of simply just walking around in the area, namjoon suddenly became a bit more interested in jin and started to let his curiosity get the best of him. "so, jin, tell me a bit more about yourself" jin was caught a bit off guard at this, but spoke up anyways. "well, i love eating. i also love taking pictures. i've been really into photography lately. and, as you can probably tell," jin points to his hair, laughing. "my favourite colour is pink. people sometimes make fun of me for it, but i don't really pay attention."
"it's not even something to be embarrassed about- i mean, i like pink too." jin cracks a small smile, and gasps in shock. "i almost forgot! i also have a pet sugar glider, his name is odengie. but he doesn't live with me anymore." he proudly states, pouting at the last few words. namjoon just chuckles at the name. "were you hungry when you named him?" he jokingly asks, causing jin to nod. "actually, yeah".
"anyways, what about you? tell me about yourself." jin encourages, looking briefly toward namjoon. he continues to suck the liquid from the straw stabbed into his drink, continuing to walk along the sidewalk with namjoon. there were many shops along this street, and many trees and benches as well.
"alright... where do i start?" he thinks, interrupting himself soon after. "oh, yeah! so, my favourite colour is purple. i absolutely love ryan and koya, i also like roller coasters, and horror movies. i'm also known to my friends as 'the god of destruction' because i always unintentionally break things." he blushes, going on about his hobbies and stories about the biggest roller coasters he's gone on.
namjoon randomly became fascinated in jin's relationship life, but knew he shouldn't just ask about it, especially when they weren't even that close yet- it would be impolite. he then thought 'fuck it'.
"are you single?" he then realized how that probably came across sounding to jin and corrects himself. "i-like, i don't mean for me, i just- i was just curious, i'm sorry..." namjoon apologizes, gulping down hard. now was probably the time for him to shut up. "it's okay, i get it" he laughs, deciding on whether to lie or not.
"i-i'm uh- no. i'm not single" he blurts out.
