Slowly, I opened my eyes. I sat up, then realized how much my head hurt. I looked around, and saw the collapsed building behind me. I was just there, how did I get out? And where was Peter? I stood up, and started walking.

I looked up at the sky, and saw a plane going down. Since it was on fire, I assumed Peter was there. I tried to fly, but it wouldn't work. Grumbling, I walked towards the coastline. Hopefully, that would help.

I jumped in. Once I was underwater, I could feel my strength coming back. But I started to remember the feeling of drowning, and I poked my head out of water. I could deal with this later, I had to get to the plane. I rose into the air, and traveled to the plane wreck.

Liz's dad had Peter pinned on the ground. I started to put out the fires, then I shot out water at Liz's dad. He went flying back, and I kept going. He then started to come after me, and I flew up. I surrounded him with water, only leaving his head uncovered. He broke free, and grabbed a crate.

Peter looked up. "Your wingsuit. Your wingsuit is going to explode." He shot some webbing at the crate, and started to pull. I tried to stop the sparks, but it exploded.

I shot water at the flames, putting them out. Out of the flames, Peter was carrying Liz's dad. He then set him down, and started arranging the boxes. Not knowing what else to do, I helped him.

Later, on top of a rollercoaster, Peter was looking down at the wreckage. I sat next to him. "Hey." He looked up at me. "Hey." I sighed. "You got me out of the building, didn't you." He nodded. "I'm glad you're okay." I looked at him, and without thinking, I leaned towards him. Surprisingly, he did the same.

It was a short kiss, but sweet. When we pulled away, I had to look down so that he wouldn't be able to see me blushing. "Well, that was..." Peter chuckled, and we looked down at the people taking Liz's dad away.

I looked at my phone, then I sighed. "I gotta get going. I'll see you on Monday." He nodded, and I flew back home.

When I got into my room, I sat down at my desk and smiled. I kissed Spiderman. Homecoming wasn't a total letdown.
