As we approached Thanos's planet, Tony and Peter tried to navigate the ship. "This was meant for one big guy, so we gotta move at the same time." Peter nodded. "Okay. Ready." As I looked out the ship, I noticed we were headed into a pillar. "Turn. Turn. Turn." I braced myself for the impact. I wasn't sure if the planet had breathable air, so I prepared for the worst.
The ship shook on impact, and I fell to the ground. Strange helped Tony stand up, and I looked over to make sure Peter was okay. He was looking into the distance, obviously worried. He turned upside down and started descending towards us. "Let me just say, if aliens wind up implanting eggs in my chest or something, and I end up eating you, I'm sorry."
Tony sighed. "I don't wanna hear another single pop culture reference out of you for the rest of the trip. You understand?" Peter nodded. "I'm trying to say that... something is coming." Before I could react, some grenade-like thing was thrown at us, and we were all thrown back. I quickly stood up, and got in a fighting stance. In the doorway, three people stood. One looked human, and the other two, well, didn't.
One started charging at us, yelling "Thanos!" I moved my hands, and water pushed the guy back. It then lifted him up and started spinning him around. Strange then sent the cloak towards the guy and it covered his face. I then focused my attention on the human, who was shooting at Peter.
The guy then grabbed Peter and put a gun to his head. Tony had the other guy on the ground, and had one foot on him. I held my hands up defensively. The guy with the gun started talking. "Alright, everybody stay where you are. Chill the F out." His helmet disappeared. "I'm gonna ask you this one time. Where is Gamora?"
Tony's helmet disappeared. "Yeah, I'll do you one better. Who is Gamora?" The guy on the ground nodded. "I'll do you one better. Why is Gamora." My jaw dropped. Was this guy for real? The human looked unfazed. "Tell me where the girl is, or I swear to you, I'm gonna french-fry this little freak." I raised my eyebrows. "You shoot him, and I'll throw you into space myself."
Tony kept his arm up. "Let's do it. You shoot my guy, I'll shoot your guy, and she'll shoot you." One of his arms turned into a blaster that was aimed at the guy on the ground. "Do it, Quill. I can take it." The girl shook her head. "No, he can't take it." Strange nodded. "She's right. You can't."
Quill, I think he was the human, shrugged. "Oh yeah? You don't wanna tell me where she is? That's fine. I'll kill all four of you and beat it out of Thanos myself." I dropped my arms. These guys were not sent by Thanos. Strange raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what. Thanos?" He sighed. "Alright, let me ask you this one time. What master do you serve?" Quill scoffed. "What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?"
Tony took his foot off of the guy. "You're from Earth." Quill shook his head. "I'm not from Earth. I'm from Missouri." Tony rolled his eyes. "Yeah, that's on EARTH, dip. What are you hassling us for?" Peter sighed. "So you're not with Thanos?" Quill looked shocked. "With Thanos?! No, I'm here to kill Thanos! He took my girl. Wait... who are you?" Peter's helmet disappeared. "We're the Avengers, man." Quill let go of Peter, obviously disappointed.
The girl with the antennae, still webbed up, spoke. "You're the ones Thor told us about." I looked at her. The Thor, God of Thunder, was talking about the Avengers. Tony tilted his head. "You know Thor?" Quill nodded. "Yeah. Tall guy, not that good looking." Peter and I looked at him like he was crazy. Strange raised an eyebrow. "Where is he now?"
