I opened my locker door, and turned my head to see Dani folding her arms, awaiting an answer.

"For the last time, Dani. I did not see who he was, even though he had his mask off." Lily huffed.

"That's unfortunate."

After the events of last night, I felt the need to tell Dani everything. She was particularly interested in the part about seeing Spidey without his mask on. It took five times to convince her that I saw nothing. She sighed.

"Anyways, thanks for driving me home from the party." I shrugged.

"Yeah, well, you looked like you needed the ride."

Even though the hallway was completely empty, I could hear two voices walking down the hall. I turned my head to see Peter Parker and Ned. As soon as I saw them, I immediately knew it.

When Spidey took off his mask, it was Peter Parker under there. Peter was Spidey. How did it take me so long to realize it?

We made eye contact, and not wanting to give anything away, I gave him an awkward smile. He nodded, and then looked past me. I slowly turned my head and saw what he was looking at. It was the two men from yesterday. Peter grabbed Ned and ducked behind the wall. Dani tilted her head.

"What was that about?" I sighed, and whispered,

"I'm pretty sure Peter is Spiderman." Her eyes widened.

"Really?" I grabbed her hand.

"Dani, shut up! There are guys here who tried to kill him and me yesterday. We can't let them know." She gulped.

"You mean, all this time, you've been fighting alongside Peter freaking Parker?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, but we-" Dani interrupted me.

"Can't talk about it, I know, I know." The men disappeared into a room, followed quickly by Peter. Rolling my eyes, I sighed.

"We should get to class." Dani protested, folding her arms.

"But what about Peter?" I grabbed her hand, and sprinted over to the classroom.
