I stood at the edge of the water, my toes engulfed in the Atlantic Ocean. My red hair blowing in the early morning breeze. The water was peaceful - perfect.

I come here everytime I need to think. Which happens a lot. I have a lot to think about. Family, friends.

For as long as I could remember, it was just me and Nat. Since Nat was working for SHIELD, she kept me under the radar for the most part, which meant my only "friends" were Clint Barton's kids. His oldest child was a few years younger than me, so the first few years were a little difficult.

Once I got to high school, my goal was to make as many friends as I could, which didn't turn out as I planned. I had a good friend and a couple other friends who weren't as nice. At first I didn't care, friends were friends. But as time went by, I started to realize that it wasn't a good idea to be friends with them

I decided to dive into the water to clear my head. As I wandered into the water, it felt chilly. This was normal, since it was the Atlantic. I put my hands together and dove into the water.

Everything was so much quieter under the water. I could just spend hours in the water, if I was able to breathe of course. It was just so quiet, the only thing I could hear was the rushing of the waves.

I came up for air, and I could see a bright blue light under the water. I knew I should probably go back to shore, but I wanted to check out what it was. I dove under again, struggling to keep my eyes open. The salt water was irritating my eyes.

The light was only a couple feet deep because I wasn't far from shore. As I got closer to the light, I could hear a faint hum. It was warped by the water, but it was getting louder.

I reached out to grab it, and I started to feel weird. It didn't feel like drowning, I just felt brighter. I then felt very dizzy, and as I started to lose consciousness, I felt a ripple of blue light go through the water. The source of the light almost looked like a cube.
