We rode from the airport to Venice in a boat, which was cool. I really liked how the roads were water. The channels were full of boats.

We pulled up to the hotel, which looked like a dump. Mr. Harrington tried to assure everyone that the hotel was fine.

"Looks like we're here. They're doing some renovations to the place. Getting some upgrades." The boat stopped. "That must be the concierge." He was the first to exit the boat, then we all got off.

The inside was slightly better, but not much. There was definitely flooding, and something smelled off.

"It's sinking." Flash said, to which Mr. Harrington responded

"You mean charming."

"Okay everybody drop your bags off." Mr. Dell announced. "We're gonna meet at the Da Vinci Museum at 3. Let's go."

"Vamanos." Mr. Harrington said in Spanish.

"It's andiamo." MJ retorted.

"Andiamo!"

We explored Venice. Flash was vlogging, Ned and Betty were getting a painting done, and Mr. Harrington dropped his camera in the water. Brad was taking pictures of pigeons that were flocking around MJ.

I heard the water rushing, and I looked over to see a current heading through the canals. The water on the sidewalks was draining to the canals. Peter and I shared a worried glance.

Suddenly, a giant water figure rose up, causing water to fly everywhere. Peter and I got Ned and Betty out of the boat.

"What is that?" Ned asked.

"I don't know." Peter responded.

"What are you going to do?"

"I don't know. I left my suit in the hotel." I sighed.

"I left mine in New York." Ned looked at the both of us.

"Why?"

"Because I'm on vacation, Ned." Peter looked around. "Everyone's gonna see my face. Just get them out of here." Ned nodded and ran up the stairs. The water monster swung its fist at a building, and the pillars crumbled. It swung at another building and brought both fists down on the water.

Peter ran to a wall to activate his web shooters. I made sure no one was looking at me and I waved my hands. The monster barely moved. I dropped my hands.

"Are you kidding me?" I raised a wall of water to stop the monster, and he turned and attacked a bridge.

All of a sudden, a green smokey blast hit the water monster. It looked up and got hit with another blast. I saw a figure with a cape flying towards it, leaving a trail of green smoke. It started to fight the monster.

I ran over to Peter, and I noticed he was covered in water.

"You okay?" He nodded.

"Yeah. You?" I looked around.

"Yeah. What are we going to do about that?" I gestured to the smokey man fighting the giant blob of water. Peter thought for a moment, then grabbed a face mask and leapt up to the roof to talk to the smokey man.

"I need to lead it away from the canals." The smokey man yelled, then flew into the canals. Peter started holding together the buildings. I sighed, raising water to act as a barrier to keep the water monster from destroying more buildings.

The smokey man had led the water monster away from the canals, and Peter was struggling to hold a bell tower up. I heard the bell ring, and looked up to see that he had hit his head on the bell. I winced.

Eventually, the smokey man subdued the water monster and it exploded in a burst of water. The bell tower fell to the ground, and I saw Peter get up and out of the tower. The smokey man waved to everyone before flying away.
