I sat in a chair while Nat talked to some guy. From the looks of it, the guy was some kind of doctor. Nat was obviously upset.

"She has been underwater for five days, does that not mean anything to you?" I hid a smile. While I was very confused, it was nice to know that Nat was on my side helping me. Eventually, she walked over to me. "I think we're going to have to try something." I tilted my head. "With something like this, the person involved gets some kind of new ability."

"Like the Hulk." I assumed. Nat nodded. She then looked down at the ground. I knew that she was still upset about Banner leaving back in Sokovia.

"Yeah." I said softly. As if on cue, the door opened. In walked none other than the Tony Stark.

"Hey." He walked over to them. "I'm guessing this is Nixie." I nodded. He looked from me to Nat. "Okay, let's run some tests." He then grabbed a glass of water and threw it at me. I lifted my hands up in front of my face and the water never hit me.

Opening my eyes, I saw that the water was just hovering in front of me. As I moved my hand, the water moved. My eyes went wide, as did Nat's and Stark's.

"Umm... what the hell was that?" I asked, dropping my hand. Of course the minute I dropped my hand, the water fell. Stark looked from me to Nat.

"Since you spent five days unconscious in the water, I assumed that you got water-related powers." I shrugged.

"I mean, I don't remember any of it, so it's possible." Tony and Nat shared a look, and then he wrote something down.

Later that day, I sat in my room on my phone. I had missed a few days of school, so I had to figure out what

"Nixie?" I raised my head to see Nat at the doorway.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You should probably stay home from school tomorrow." I groaned. Not only did I miss a few days of school, but now I had to miss another day of school and make up work.

"Got it." She nodded awkwardly, then walked out of the room, leaving me alone. "Oh god." I plopped down onto the bed, and stared at the ceiling.

"Why me?"
