Elise Layton 👠Kai and Vince arrive to pick us up at 8pm, looking extremely handsome. They're both in dark jeans, with Vince wearing a red cheque shirt and Kai looking hot, in a white T-shirt under a black leather jacket.
We all climb in to Kai's Range Rover and I notice Vince checking Daisy out as she gets into the back seat. He jumps in beside her and scoots over until he's right up against her side. The poor girl. He doesn't seem to have a clue about personal space.
"I can feel a good night coming on." He says aloud and I laugh, adjusting myself in the passenger seat.
"Let's get this party started then shall we?" Kai opens the glove compartment in front of me and a bottle of Sambuca falls into my lap.
Vince pops his head through the centre of the seats, "Now that's what I'm talking about baby!" He leans over Kai's shoulder and kisses him loudly on the cheek making a popping sound.
"Get the fu*k off me man!" He shouts, shoving Vince's face away with his palm. I laugh at them, unscrew the bottle and pour some into my mouth. I swallow and enjoy the warmth that spreads down my throat, handing the bottle behind me to Vince.
He takes a shot from the bottle and scrunches up his face at the taste.
"Spill the tea!...but don't spill the Sambuca!" He shouts and I giggle, turning Kai's stereo up. I think Vince is right, I can feel a good night coming on.
I look into my wing mirror and I'm surprised to see Daisy through the back window taking a shot too. I gaze over at Kai and smile as he puts the car in gear, puts the handbrake down, places his hand on my thigh and drives away down the street with one hand on the wheel.
I look at his hand on my leg, look up at him smirking and raise my brows.
His touch on my bare skin sends tingles shooting down my legs and I love the feeling, so I let him leave his hand there.
Vince passes the Sambuca around the car as we head towards Eastman's house and my head begins to feel a little fuzzy.
We travel up a long, winding road, with the glow of the street lights filtering into the car. The bass from the stereo hums through my body and I feel the happiest I have all week. I just need to be able to forget.
Everything.
We finally stop at a set of tall, black, iron gates and just past those I can see a long driveway. The gates open up automatically and as Kai drives along I take in the beauty of Eastman's house. It's huge, made of terracotta coloured bricks with white stone framed windows. There's a dark wooden door at the bottom and I watch as people filter in.
We exit the car and walk up a gravel pathway leading to the house. Walking through the wooden door we're greeted by loud music, fog from a smoke machine, dimly lit rooms and a girl running down a staircase in her bra.
My eyes pop open in shock, as I watch her looking frantically from room to room, trying to cover her chest with her arm.
"What is she doing? And what is she looking for?" Daisy questions from behind me.
"Honey, she's obviously looking for her self respect, because she's definitely lost it." I tell her and Kai laughs beside me.
A guy comes down the stairs behind her, shirtless, staggering and calling out to her, "Baby come back! I only slept with her one time!"
I shake my head, "No, I've changed my mind. It's him that's lost his self respect and she's obviously trying to help him find it." I point at him and then at her.
