Couple of things I found on Tumblr for my Tony bby:

x You know a lot of problems in the MCU would literally not be fucking problems if people listened to Tony? 

x Going all the way back to Age of Ultron, Tony warned all the Avengers about the cataclysmic threats looming above them in outer-space. ("That up there? That's the endgame"). But no one listened (except Thor who did go off in search of information about the Infinity Stones). On Earth, Tony was the only one actively preparing for a galactic threat between the events of Age of Ultron and Infinity War. 

Tony tried to keep the Avengers together during the events of Civil War. He knew the refusal to sign the Accords was a surefire way to guarantee they'd all be on the run and presumably separated. Ultimately, Tony's concerns were right. The Avengers did get split apart because more than half of them became active fugitives. 

Tony (and Bruce) created Vision for the explicit purpose of protecting Earth from threats like Thanos. It was Vision who deduced the most logical course of action was the immediate destruction of the Mind Stone in his head. Destroying the gem early on would've mitigated the completion of Thanos's gauntlet. But no one listened to Vision either, just like no one listened to Tony, and the Mind Stone wasn't destroyed until it was too late. 

Tony warned Strange that the Time Stone would be Thanos's best chance against them, and as usual, he was right. The Time Stone allowed Thanos the ability to unwind the destruction of the Mind Stone to complete his gauntlet. 

It's so tragic because while Tony has made his mistakes and certainly has his shortcomings, for the most part, he tends to know what he's talking about, and his math is always right. At every step, he's tried his hardest to thwart the threat Thanos presented, but through machinations of the plot, or his dodgy relationships with the other Avengers, no one listened to him. He was left alone. 

Now half the universe is gone, and I have no doubt that Tony blames himself for it, even if he was one of the very few who has been trying to stop Thanos since the beginning. 

x The rest of the Avengers literally ain't got shit on Tony. Parents killed by an assassin. Sold to terrorist ring by godfather and legal guardian. Open heart surgery w/o anesthetics, magnet powered by car battery in chest so that fucking shrapnel doesn't slice through his heart. Hiking through Arabian Desert in 57C with weak heart, injuries, and no proper attire. Paralyzed and left to die of shrapnel by that same godfather. Almost died of a billion volt discharge fighting him. Survived head on lightning blast from Thor himself. Got his house thrown at him after a terrorist attack was sent on his house. Been living with palladium poisoning and survived only cause he managed to create a new chemical element with 7% help of his shitbag dead dad. Survived an army of killer robots. Survived the beating of two Supersoldiers and laying beaten to pulp Mid-Siberia exposed to the negative 25 degrees Celsius. Survived an angry Hulk attack and almost subdued the bitch through brute force. Attached himself to a nuke and flew it through a wormhole into space, free fell from the fucking sky and almost hit the ground with full force. Survived getting attacked by 20th century deadliest assassin/supersoldier with only bullet proof glasses and one (1) gauntlet. Saved his damn self from being captured and tied by by Killian. Survived the full blast of a power stone. Got an ENTIRE FUCKING MOON, A WHOLE FUCKING CELESTIAL BODY THROWN AT HIM HEAD ON, AND GOT UP 4 SECONDS LATER, UNBOTHERED, SHAKING THE DUST OFF HIS SHOULDER. ALL OF THIS WHILE BEING 100% HUMAN AND UNTRAINED LIKE DO YOU ALL JUST IGNORE HOW FUCKING BADASS AND UNKILLABLE THIS MAN IS OR DOES STEVE NEED TO DROP THE "EARTH'S BEST DEFENDER" ON YOUR OBLIVIOUS ASSES AGAIN?
