Okay before I start. This is going to be me talking about Avengers: Endgame. A movie that's been out in theatres for over a month now, but if you haven't seen it, and don't want to be spoiled for the movie, please stop reading this chapter. It will contain MASSIVE spoilers.

You have been warned.

Okay, I want to make something abundantly clear. I don't hate this movie just because Tony Stark dies in it. I hate this movie because it was such a fucking disappointing ending to an era. We have six original Avengers, and I was literally satisfied with only two of their endings.

I'm gonna go through everything.

First off. Tony Stark dies. I'm not saying this just because of my love for him, but we all knew either he or Stever were dying. I honest to god think it should've been Steve. Especially as the movie went along and it was revealed that in that five-year time skip, he got married to Pepper and they had a little girl named Morgan. I've seen a lot of people saying that this made his death feel more satisfying but did it??? Did it really? How is leaving a little girl with no father when she will be far too young to remember her fucking father as she gets older satisfying? He finally gets his happily ever after after going through so much shit in the entire fucking MCU and he fucking dies. This is not satisfying. It's heartbreaking and stupid and bullshit. Tony didn't need to earn his 'right to die' by gaining a family. He should've been able to live and see his little girl start school and graduate and take over the company and just...fuck I absolutely fucking hate the Russos for killing him off!

Steve Rogers? Yeah, well fuck Steve Rogers and his going back in fucking time AND COMPLETELY RUINING THE ONE FUCKING RULE THAT THE MOVIE SAT UP ABOUT THEIR FUCKING TIME TRAVEL. Plus, it pisses me off that to give him his happy ending the fucking Russos basically said 'fuck you Peggy Carter and all the amazing character development you got in your show'.  LIKE SHE MOVED PAST STEVE AND GOT MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE AND HAD FUCKING CHILDREN BUT NOOO THE RUSSOS HAD TO FUCKING RUIN IT SO THEY COULD GIVE THEIR GOLDEN BOY HIS UNDESERVED HAPPY EVER AFTER. God fucking DAMNIT he could've died a heroic death and everything BUT NO HE HAD TO GO BACK IN THE PAST AND FUCK YOU ROGERS.

Alright. Let's take a break from me ranting about the endings I hated, and go into the two that I was actually satisfied about: Natasha and Clint. I was actually satisfied with Natasha's death, and I'm really glad they killed her off instead of Clint because I didn't want Clint's family to lose him as that was one of the reasons why I hated Tony's death so much. And I think it fit in her character to do what she did, and I think it fit Clint's character to do what he did as well. Also, THEY ACTUALLY GAVE CLINT A CHARACTER ARC AND HE WASN'T JUST THERE. I mean, it made me happy because I fucking love Clint to death and I'm just glad he got an actual arc and development and everything.

Okay, that was enough of me being nice about this movie, for now. Back to ranting.

Thor was just...dumb. Like. His entire story was dumb. Frat Thor? Yeah, stupid, stupid, really wasted potential of what could've been a great character who was suffering through hard times who realizes that he can still have a happy ending despite all the shit he's gone through (yeah that's how they kind of did it, but also they did it in a really really fucking bad way that I do not approve of). I get it okay? He lost his family and feels as though he has nothing more to live for, but did they really have to fucking go all out with him? It's a fucking ridiculous plot and as one of the people I watched do a review on the movie (Sean Chandler Talks About) pointed out, it almost seemed out of place in the movie. It seemed like the Russos had Taika Waititi [I don't give a flying fuck if I'm spelling his name wrong] come in and write the scenes with Thor, while their people wrote the entire rest of the movie. It just...it could've been handled so much better. Also. I am not looking forward to Guardians 3 if I have to deal with Thor and Quill trying to "one-up" each other as they have been in the past two Avengers movies because it's fucking cringy as all hell. Most people I talk to seem to think it's funny and hilarious but it just makes me want to roll my eyes or slam my head against a wall.
