Sooo.

Fun fact for you guys.

According to Anthony and Joe Russo...Tony Stark was trying to kill Bucky in Civil War. 

Yeah, they say he was trying to kill Bucky.

I don't fucking believe it though. Because he's Tony Stark. He has a fucking Iron Man suit on. A suit who's past iteration went up against literal gods and fucking survived. And his suits are only improved with each one he makes. You wanna tell me that had he wanted Bucky, and even Steve, dead, they wouldn't be fucking dead? No. Okay? They would be deader than dead, super soldiers or not. 

Tony was upset because his parents (who he may've not been particularly close to, but were still his fucking parents) who'd he'd thought had died in a car accident, no third party involved, were murdered by a guy standing not ten feet from him. And, yeah, he was fucking upset. Hell, if my mom were to die and I were to believe for over half my fucking life that it had been accidental causes and to find out that someone that was right there next to me had brutally fucking murdered her, I would lash out at them too. I would also die, but that's not the point. 

And, I've seen people make the argument that Tony shouldn't feel this fucking way because of the fact that he didn't like his father, but he literally fucking says to Steve "He killed my mom." Not his dad. His mom. Who tried her best to raise him despite her husband. Who we see earlier in the movie very much loved him, and hell Howard probably loved him in his own fucked up way as well. But yeah. So, Tony has every fucking right to be upset about the fact that his parent's killer was standing in the fucking room. Doesn't matter that that's what fuckface "villain" (idk his name still lmao) wanted. Doesn't matter. You cannot tell me that if you found out someone who you cared about (family or no, pick someone) who died when you were younger died by the hands of someone in the same room as you at that moment you found out, that you wouldn't lash out. 

Anyways. Back to my original point. 

Tony wasn't trying to kill Bucky. Tony fucking Stark who has fucking destroyed so much shit with his armor, and has so many fucking blasters and everything in that thing that could've easily taken out both Bucky and Steve easily was not trying to kill Bucky. 

I recently read a thing saying that if Tony had so desired to kill them, he could've flown out of the building, sat it on fire with his suit, and then flown away. Because that's something that's literally plausible with his suit. 

So yeah. 

If Tony had wanted Bucky to be dead, Bucky would be dead. And Steve too, to be honest. Because Steve was getting in the way of Tony attacking Bucky. So yeah.
