Okay, so I saw a guy on YouTube (Sean Chandler Talks About) do a video on his favorite movie of each year he's been alive, and I want to do it.

1996: Happy Gilmore
Lmao, when you realize that there's not a lot of movies the year you were born that you actually like. But, honestly, this is one of Adam Sandler's best movies, and it makes me laugh whenever I watch it.

1997: Hercules
Once again, there are not many movies in 1997 that I love, but Hercules is honestly such a gem of a Disney movie. Like, I know it's completely inaccurate to the myths, but I don't care because I have such fun while I watch, and honestly, that's all I really care about. Such a good movie, honestly.

1998: Parent Trap
Such an iconic movie from my childhood. Like, I remember having this thing on VHS and just constantly watching it over and over and over. It's a really good movie and I really love it, even to this day.

1999: American Pie
Okay, so I obviously didn't watch this back when it came out. Fun story, my brothers tricked me into watching this by telling me it was a different movie. I actually ended up liking it? Like, it's really bad and cringy, but in a good way and I just rewatched all the American Pie movies about a month ago, and god do I still love them

2000: X-Men
So for anyone who doesn't know, X-Men was my first really big foray into superhero movies, and it's always going to hold up in my eyes. Also, the special effects don't suck [they're not great anymore but they don't look as bad as the TM Spidey trilogy], and its just such a great movie.

2001: Princess Diaries
Honestly, 2001 has some really great movies. But...Princess Diaries is where queen  Anne Hathaway got her start and it's just an iconic movie from my childhood and you won't change my mind on this.

2002: Lilo and Stitch
Like...this is just such a good feel-good movie and I love it and it's one of my all time favorite Disney movies. Change my mind. Wait. You can't.

2003: X2: X-Men United
Nope. Better than the original X-Men in virtually every way, and just fuuuuck good movie and you can argue all you want but all your arguments are invalid.

2004: National Treasure
Umm...yes? Best Nicholas Cage movie? Yup. Good action/adventure? Yes. Amazing movie? Basically.

2005: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Ummm...Robert Downey Jr? Yeah, no he automatically wins no matter what. Honestly, one of my favorite movies and I only just watched it earlier this year for the first time and god it's amazing and I love it and I want more.

2006: Cars
My personal favorite Pixar movie. Like...I just think it's a great movie and I know the Cars movies get a lot of crap on, but I just really love the characters and the movies, and also I used to watch this movie on repeat when I was a kid, and that's all there is to it.

2007: Fantastic 4 2: RIse of the Silver Surfer
First superhero movie I saw as a kid and didn't hate, and actually loved it. Therefore, soft spot in my heart and I love it and fuck all you haters.

2008: Iron Man
My favorite movie of literal all time. I'm not explaining this because you should all know by now why I love it.

2009: Sherlock Holmes
Umm, once again. Robert Downey Jr. Is there really any other explanation for why this movie is so fucking epic and why I love it so much?

2010: Due Date
So, three years in a row Robert Downey Jr has made a movie that is my favorite. To be fair, I've only seen like a third of this movie, but it's still better than basically any other movie that came out this year.

2011: X-Men First Class
Ughhh, X-Men. Such good movies. Such good stories. And it's a prequel and it's a good prequel and idk if there's much else to say? Also, Michael Fassbender is an amazing Magneto and fight me on that.

2012: Avengers

Is there another movie quite so iconic? It's the movie that got me into the MCU, it was my introduction to a lot of things I love to this day, and I just think it's a really good movie to this date.

2013: Now You See Me
A movie about Vegas Magicians that use their Vegas Magic to pull of heists? It's a concept that shouldn't work, but definitely does and I just think it's amazing. I love all the characters and all the plots and just...yessss.

2014: The Judge
Lmao, yet another Robert Downey Jr movie. This movie came out when I was in a really really dark area of my life, and it just...helped me so much and I love it because of it.

2015: Jurassic World
First Jurassic movie, ever, and I saw it because of a free ticket. 100% absolutely loved it and it's just such a great movie, alright? Like...just. Yeah. Good movie.

2016: Deadpool
10,000% hilarious and just a great movie. Loved the action, loved the main character, and just overall, a really really good movie and no one can tell me otherwise.

2017: Baby Driver
Fuuuuuck, this is a good movie and if you haven't seen it, you really need to. It's literally up there with KKBB, The Judge, and NYSM as a few of my all time favorite Non-Fandom movies and it's just...yeah. Doesn't hurt that this is where I got Aaron's face claim from either.

2018: Venom
I know. I know. This movie was really controversial. Guess what? I don't care. I don't care and you can fight with me all you fucking want. It's an amazing movie and I will defend it till the day I die. Good movie.

2019 [so far]: Captain Marvel
So, sometime this week I'm gonna do a review on Endgame, and you'll understand why I picked Captain Marvel over that movie considering how they're the only two movies I've seen that came out this year, it's not that hard to choose between the two. Plus...Carol Danvers is just...yes, please.

Anyways, that's my list of my favorite movie for every year I've been alive. Some of them are weird, I know, but eh, I don't care. Deal with it. Literally my opinion.
