I know, I know. I haven't updated in over a month, but cut me some slack please. I haven't been feeling August as much lately, and you can see how that's hard when writing a fan fiction. I'm going to try, but I am going to try to update more often. I am in school though, so keep that in mind.

“Hey!” I smiled at everyone as I walked into the studio. August was sitting at the board messing with some of them buttons. “Hey Husband.” I leaned down and kissed my man on his lips.

“Hey Wife.” He smiled and pulled me down on my lap. “How my babies doing?”  He kissed my stomach, and started to rub my thigh.

“We good. We just stopped by to give Daddy his lunch.” I pointed to the bag I sat on the table.

“August, we gon give y’all a minute.” Dwayne, the studio manager, stood up to leave as did the rest of men in the room.

August and I have been married exactly six weeks today, and I feel really blessed. I’m five and a half months pregnant, and I couldn’t ask for a better man. God has brought us both to a great place. Johnae had moved out two weeks ago, and gave birth to a baby boy, Johnathan. He’s a cutie if I must admit.

“So what do you have to do today?” I stood up, and walked over to fix August’s plate.

“Shit, working on this damn remix. I think Nicki is gonna be hot on this shit.” He rubbed his hands together out of habit.

I did a quick pause when he mentioned Nicki. My insecurities were at an ultime with me gaining weight for this pregnancy, adding weight to my already heavy frame. “Oh..you gon put her on?” I smiled, and handed him his homemade chicken salad.

“Ma, don’t even do that. I know what you are thinking.” He shook his head, and took his plate.

“I’m not thinking nothing.” I lied, and took a seat in the chair across from him.

“I know you thinking about me doing some shit with Nicki. That’s my friend. It ain’t even like that. She got a man.” He informed, stuffing his mouth with salad.

“That means nothing now a days. Shit look at us.” I rolled my eyes, and sunk deeper in my feelings.

“Stop doing that. You are still beautiful! Hell if anything you look better to me now, since you are bringing my child into the world.” He spoke sternly. “You wasn’t skinny when I got with you. You ain’t never been small, even when we was kids. Shit I know I don been with some different broads on you, but know I’m always gon come home I’m married now. I’m not even doing shit like that no more. That’s my mutha fucking word.”

I looked at my husband, and took in every word he said to me. “My heart just can’t take no more.” I whispered.

“And, I’m not gonna intentionally do anything to jeopardize or love.” He rolled over to the table, placing his plate down, then stood up and walked over to me, taking my hand up into his.
