violet decided she needed to get a grip and stop avoiding all her problems. she had just got off the phone from her friends back home who had all given her words of encouragement, and also a good telling off. they had always been there to point out when she was being oblivious to boys but with them being 5,000 miles away she was all alone.

now that was done she moved on to her next 'victim' as he friends labelled them. this one was a little more difficult than a simple 'i'm sorry' text and a make up drink. this was complex, and difficult. feelings were involved, as was a current girlfriends and a spiteful best friend.
a shaky hand placed a phone to her ear. as expected, the boy picked up immediately, breathing a relieved sigh into the microphone.
"david, we need to work this out" she reasoned, wishing this could all just go back to normal. "can't we just forget about what happened? i want to be your friend violet" he pleaded, she could tell he knew that it wouldn't be as easy as that.
"you know thats not how it works. whether it means we only hang out around other people, or take a break from each other, we need to find a solution." violet replied, "violet i'm not some kind of animal, i can control myself" he chuckled, "i know you can david, but your friends don't, and this won't work if they are out to sabotage you every time we speak" violet responded, causing a sigh to leave his lips.
"how about we keep this as our little secret" he eventually replied, violet was about to agree but the constant buzzing of her phone caused her to pull it from her ear.
