A few weeks had passed since the groups first breakfast outing with violet and since then she became a regular appearance in everyones vlogs, to the point where if she wasn't around fans even left comments asking where she was.

this was strange to the british girl, never before had anyone cared so much about her whereabouts and the fact it was so unexpected made it all seem like a dream.

not only had she gained the love of their fans, but more importantly she's had gained the trust of the group; something that was equally as unexpected.

it was funny how well their schedules lined up, with violet consumed with her part time job and her university work from early mornings to mid afternoon, by the time she was free everyone else was fully awake and free- ready to start filming again. she was absolutely exhausted, waking up at 5am and usually not returning back to bed anywhere from midnight to 2am, but this was what being young was all about, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

she never complained about any of this, refusing to even admit to her friends about her hectic schedule. they didn't even know she had a job, knowing they would cause a fuss about keeping her up so late to help them with their vlogs. if there was one thing she hated, it was people worrying over her.

it was 1am on thursday and violet was doing onr of her favourite things, sitting on the sofa and watching david and jason film their podcast, ever so often chipping in on conversations or offering her opinion. she enjoyed the podcast more than the videos sometimes, loving how open and honest the pair where, not holding back on any topics.

"you didn't have to sit through all of that violet" david said once the podcast was filmed, "i know, but i enjoy it. plus i drank way too much coffee today trying to finish my projects for uni so I'm wide awake" she replied, following him into the living room where they simultaneously flopped onto the sofa. "I'm not tired yet either, i promised to drop jason back to his house since i forced him to film so late, want to come with me?" he replied, looking at the girl with a hopeful look as she simply nodded in agreement, not looking up from the phone she was furiously typing on.

after everything that had happened between david and herself, she didn't feel quite comfortable enough to discuss her 'boy problems' with him yet, especially when it was as complicated as her and ollie, who she was currently engaging in a heated text argument with over how late she was hanging out with her friends when she had to be up so early that day.

"your generation is always on their phone" jason sighed, watching violet in her own little world, consmed by her screen. "at least she has friends to talk to, even your kids don't reply to you" david replied on her behalf, causing jason's iconic cackle to leave his lips. "who is she even talking to? its 2am!" jason added, not bothering to retaliate to davids comment. "not everyone goes to bed at 7pm jason" violet chuckled, surprising the two who expected her to be oblivious to their conversation.

"everything okay?" david whispered into the girls ear as they made their way to the car, "yeah just a little argument with one of my friends but I'm fine" she replied, forcing a reluctant smile back to him as he draped a comforting arm around her shoulder.

the two had now dropped a grumpy jason off home, violet often felt sorry for the older man who had to try desperately hard to keep up with his younger friends whilst trying to look after his kids, especially with all the early school runs he had to do after david keeps him up all night.

"help me edit?" david pouted, turning to the girl and giving her his best puppy dog eyes, causing her to sigh and roll her eyes. "only if i get to choose the film in the background" she replied, causing him to reply with an elongated "fineeeee".

violet had to be up in three hours, she knew this, but could never abandon a friend in need. david had been stressing about his vlog all day and she was his only hope for getting it up on time. she was a creative person and knew her way around editing software as well as most youtubers, so she often helped her new friends out when they were short for time.

"i really owe you for this" david said as youtube began to process his video. "you don't owe me anything dobrik" she replied, letting out a loud yawn that she had been trying to hide for the last two hours of editing so david wouldn't realise just how exhausted she was.

"do you want to try and get some sleep here? you look sleepy and it would be quicker than me driving you home" david asked, causing violet to frown. oh how she wished she could just say yes, and finally let in to her tired bodies demands and just close her eyes. but the clock was ticking and it was getting wordily close to the time she would normally be up and getting ready.

"i would love to but i have stuff to do today and i won't get it done if i sleep here. i don't mind getting an uber if you want to get to bed though" she reluctantly replied, as he shook his head, "no i'll drive you."

the girl was gently woken by a tapping gone her shoulder, "violet we're at yours" she heard davids voice softly speak as her eyes fluttered open. she must have fallen asleep on the journey. "thank you david" she chuckled, giving him a quick hug before hopping out of his car, right into the eyesight of an annoyed looking boy. "violet what are you doing, its 6am and I've been calling you for an hour now" ollie screamed, running towards her, his fists clenching as he saw david beside her.

"shit i'm sorry i was helping david with something and my phone died" she apologised, causing him to frown even more. "violet have you not slept again? i told you you need to stop sacrifising yourself to those idiots! you're going to get sick if you carry on like this" he yelled, as she rolled her eyes at how overdramatic he was being.

"hey calm down man she was just helping me with something. anyway she's an adult, she can make her own decisions. why where you even out her waiting for her." david piped up before the girl could stop him, knowing this would really set ollie off.

"because unlike you and your selfish friends i try my hardest to do what is best for violet. i wake up at 5am to pick her up, i bring her food that i force her to eat, knowing she wouldn't make time for it otherwise, i drop her at work on the way to my work which I'm always an hour early for, just so i can continue our routine and know she gets there safe" he ranted, davids face immediately dropping as a look of guilt washed over his face.

"ollie you had no right to tell him any of that!" violet snapped, knowing her whole dynamic would change with david now he knew how much sleep she was sacrificing for him. "you're so frustrating violet, i do so much for you yet you will give up literally everything just to spent time with him. the only time we hang out recently is when I'm driving you to work. and what do i get in return? to hear these 'great' stories of amazing things you have done with your new friends. i'm the one who has even here since the beginning." he bellowed.

"look i can't deal with you right now I've had 3 hours sleep in the last 48 hours and i have a 5 hour shift to look forward to. i'm going to go upstairs and get changed then getting an uber to work. ill talk to you later" she sighed, turning around and muttering 'talk later' to david before she turned around and left.
