It is my first day of school. I just recently moved from North Dakota. I left all my friends behind. No one can know about my past. I'm leaving everything behind. It will remain in the past. It will remain in North Dakota. This morning I woke up to my mom yelling for me. She said I would be late if I didn't get up soon enough. The truth was, I didn't want to get up. I wanted to stay in my room forever. It was easier that way. But as all good things must come to an end, I got up. The first thing I had in mind was my hair. It would take the longest to do, so that is why it's first on my list. I straightened my long, caramel, burnette hair. After I was done with my hair, I picked out an outfit.

I don't feel the need to impress all these people. It was a little chilly outside, so the outfit was perfect. I decided I would drive myself to school. It was easier that way, and I can have a distraction from everything. I know that no one knows about my past, but I'm scared that someone will find out. I made a pact, I'm not going to get close to anyone. Especally boys. I can't trust them. There's only one word for why. Liam. Liam is why I can't trust. I thought about everything till I got to the school. It was a fairly big school. You could easily tell that this was an expensive school. As I entered, I had to go to the office to get my scedual. As soon as I got out of my car, I felt eyes on me. Everyone was staring at me and whispering. I kept my head down walking in. As I entered the office, I noticed this one guy. He was bent down talking to the secretary. You could easily tell he was tense. When the door shut behind me, he turned around. His eyes were gorgeous. It was like, all he had to do was look at me to make me melt. The secretary then went on to look at me too. "You're new right?" He said. I was froze. I tried to talk, but nothing came out. "Yeah." I finally managed to get out. I could my face turning red, but then I remembered Liam. If he could hurt me, anyone could. I couldn't let him have this kind of reaction out of me. "I need my scedual." I said to the secretary. She then asked for my name. "Leilani." I replied back. She searched for my name and as she did, I could feel the mystery guy's eyes on me. I didn't look at him. I kept looking at the secretary. She printed out my scedual and then said "It looks like you and Parker have almost all the same classes together." That great. Just great. Parker ended up walking me to class. Everytime he talked, it made me jump a little. His voice was deep and sharp. It could pierce through skin. And everytime his arm brushed against mine, it gave me goosebumps. He smelt like citrus. I love that smell. He is all in all, irresistible. But I must resist him. "Where are you from." He said in his deep, husker voice. "North Dakota." I replied back almost instantly. "Well, this is Mr. Authers class." He said. "Aren't you coming in with me?" I questioned. "Nope." He replied. "I'm skipping today. Just not feeling it." "It's the first day, and you're skipping?" I asked Parker. "Yeah." " Then I'm coming with you." As soon as I said that, I had instant regret. I can't believe those words even came out of my mouth. "Let's go then." Parker replied back with a smile. I would have never thought I would skip the first day of school, at a new school, with a dude I don't even know, but here I am. Here goes nothing. -- To be continued:) --
