Suddenly, a couple police cars pulled into my driveway. Liam looked around in shock. He started yelling like he was a madman. Parker just started at him in shock.
"Drop the gun now!" The first policeman yelled.
Two shots went off. All of a sudden Parker jumped right in front of me and pushed me back.
I fell to the ground. I couldn't breath. The air was knocked out of me.
Suddenly The police ran up to me and Parker. Parker was sitting there holding his ribs.
I had thought he fell on them and that's why he was hurt. Then I saw the blood.
When Parker pushed me and jumped in the way of me, he took the bullet. He took a bullet for me.
"Parker!" I yelled. "Stay with me. It's gonna be okay." I cried. "Its all going to be okay Parker. Please stay with me. I can't do this without you. I can't."
I grabbed Parker head and played it on my lap. I moved my fingers through his hair and took off my shirt. All I had was a tank top and bra on under my shirt.
I pressed it against Parker's wound to try to stop the bleeding. The police ran up to us and called for the ambulance.
"Is he going to be okay?" I asked.
They both looked at each other and said nothing.
"Is he!" I yelled.
"It's to soon to tell." The one officer said as a response.
That was when my heart sank. They honestly didn't really think he would make it and the ambulance was taking forever.
"Where is the ambulance?" I asked while I was still holding my shirt to Parker's side.
"They are all busy right now. One will be here soon. Don't worry." He said calmly.
"You've gave me every reason to make me worry." I said sternly. "I'm just going to drive him. He won't make it soon." I said trying to keep it together.
"Okay. Let us help you." The officers said.
They picked Parker up as I opened my car door. I ran do the other side and remembered my first aid kit.
I grabbed it out of the glove box and grabbed as many bandages and tape as I could get. I got to work.
"Parker. If you can hear me, I'm so sorry if this hurts." I said worried.
I grabbed my shirt from the wound and lifted up Parker's shirt. He moaned in pain.
I started to cry. I can't lose him. I just got him.
"Its going to be okay. We will be there soon, but I have to wrap you up first." I said to him.
I worked quickly. I unwrapped the bandages and placed them on him. I tapped all of them down. There was at least had to be 20 layers.
"That should be good till we get to the hospital." I said.
I started my car up and drove out of there as fast as I could. I kept getting all the red lights and holding everything together kept getting harder and harder.
A tear fell down my face. It's going to be okay.
I looked over at Parker to check on him and his eyes were closed.
"Parker!" I yelled. "Stay with me." I said as I held his hand.
His eyes opened a little and he kept falling in and out of consciousness.
The hospital was so close but every second seemed to drag on.
Cars went by and stopped as soon as they saw everything going on.
I looked back at Parker and he was awake, barley.
"Hey." He said lowly.
It was easy to tell he was in pain. He could barley talk.
"Shh. Don't talk. It'll be okay. I'm right here." I said as I focused on the road.
That's when he squeezed my hand. I felt a tear fall down my face.
"Please don't cry." Parker said in pain.
I looked over at him and smiled. He shook his head and tried to smile back at me.
Finally, we approached the hospital.
"Parker? Is there any chance you can get up a little? Even if you lean on me?" I ask him.
"Yeah. I'll be okay." He said.
I knew it was going to hurt him. I hate to see him when he's hurting. I hate it. I got out of my door from my side. I ran over to his side and opened his door.
He put his arm around my waist and what clothes I had left on.
"Hey, it's okay. It's going to be okay. I'm fine." Parker said as he got up.
"Come on." I said to him in a rush. All his weight was on me and Parker was made of muscles.
We made it in the hospital and as soon as we got in I yelled for someone to help. They lady called for the emergency doctors to help.
They brought a stretcher for Parker and I helped put him on telling the doctors his name was Parker.
They started to take him back and the doctors held me back telling me to stay back.
All of a sudden ...
"I love you Leilani!" Parker yelled with everything he had in him.
