I woke up. Parker wasn't there. He wasn't in bed with me. I looked around the room. No where to be found.
I decided to get up and go out to the kitchen. As I passed Parker's mirror, I saw my reflection. I looked nothing like myself. My makeup was all run down my face. I looked bad. And I mean bad.
I honestly didn't care at that moment. I just didn't. I needed to see Parker. That's all I wanted.
I continued to walk out to the kitchen. That's when I saw him. He was standing in the kitchen by the stove. He didn't have a shirt on. He was only in his boxers. Parker was making eggs. Finally he turned around and faced me. I couldn't hold it all in. I ran up to him.
He moaned in shock and then laughed. I wrapped my arms around him as he lifted me up. I also wrapped my legs around his waist. My head was buried by his neck and shoulders.
Parker had a hold of me and he sat me on the counter. My legs were open so he could still be close. Parker put his hand on my bare thigh. I bit my lower lip as a reaction. I didn't really mean to do it, it just happened.
Parker moved in closer. I wanted to close all the space.
"No more space." I whispered to Parker as I moved closer to him. Parker was at the very edge of the counter and so was I. We both cute off all the space. I wrapped my legs around him to get him as close as possible.
I could feel Parker's breath on mine.
"I want you to ruin my life." I whispered in his ear as he watched me closely.
Parker kept looking me up and down. I was breathing faster. What if he didn't want me? I'm putting myself out in the open for him to take. What if he didn't take me?
He bit his lower lip and in one quick motion, he grabbed me thighs tighter.
I let out a breath.
When he took his hands off, there were his hand prints. Parker leaned in for a kiss. The tension was there. We both have been waiting for this. When he went to go break the kiss, he bit my bottom lip.
"You gonna tell me what happened last night." Parker asked me.
"Later." I whispered not wanting to think of it.
"Babe. Come on." He said in a normal voice this time.
"Are you going to tell me what happened last night?" I said back a little to harsh.
"You're right." Parker said. He moved out from in between my legs. He went into the bedroom. I followed and saw him sitting on the bed.
"What?" I asked him. "You wanna know what happened last night?"
"Yeah. I do, Leilani." Parker said louder this time.
"I walked out. I went to get my car because for some reason, you didn't want me. And you still don't." I told him sharply.
"Then why were you crying?" He asked.
"Someone tried to jump me. I got into the car in time and stabbed him with my key." I told Parker truthfully.
"Are you okay?" He asked concerned.
"No. I'm not Parker." I said as I raised my voice.
"What's wrong?" Parker asked frantically."
"You." I said coldly. "I want you, but everytime I think you want me back, you just don't. You call it off. I don't get it."
Parker looked at me. He looked hurt. "I do want you." He had said to me.
"Then why push me away?" I asked.
"My dad. The only reason he's still in my life is because I let him. Not because I love him, but because I need him financially." Parker told me.
"What does that have anything to do with the situation?" I asked Parker.
"He used to beat me. When he was drunk. He would have girls over, but when they left, he beat me for his own amusement. It's why I don't get close to people. I have marks all over me. I didn't want you to see them." Parker admitted.
I grabbed his hand. And turned him around. Parts of his back had marks that looked like a cigarette burn. His dad burned him with cigarettes. Why hadn't I seen this?
"I try to cover it up." He whispered.
I traced his back. Everything. All his bones, muscles, scars. Everything. He jolted a little, but after a bit, he relaxed.
Even with all Parker's flaws and past, he still was perfect.
I turned around and looked at him. I hopped on the bed with him. I spread my legs over his so I was sitting on top of him. He looked at me. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. I put my hand on his chest and lowered him on the bed until he was completely laying down.
"Leilani, I don't wanna hurt you." Parker whispered as I went to lean into him.
"You're not going to. Just be quite and love me." I whispered back.
Parker breathed out and we continued. He put his hands up my shirt and took it off in one swift motion. I had nothing on. And pretty soon, neither did Parker.
