Qetesh and Isra stand in silence as they watch Atem and Seto duel Seto was pretty close to bringing Obelisk the Tormentor during his second turn but Atem found a way to stop him they both felt it when Marik entered the arena to watch as Seto plays his magic card Lullaby of Obedience so he could "steal" Slifer the Sky Dragon "early" which seemed to amuse Marik and make him think Seto had the upper hand but once again was proven wrong as Atem plays his Exchange magic card and he takes it back "I'm tired of this!"  Atem hears both Isra and Qetesh whisper in their hearts as the virtual crowd starts cheering for him "huh!?!"  he says confused "I was wrong!.... they're not dreams.... their distractions!.... and just like Mai he's starting to forget.... excuse us my love.... we're going to help him find his way!"  Isra tells him he nods and he feels the two women disappear even though their bodies stay right where they are.... Isra and Qetesh wander Joey's dreams in search for him when they find him his eyes widen in surprise "Iz! Qet!"  he says with a surprised tone then he asks "have you come to cheer me on!?"  Isra and Qetesh shake their heads "we are here to remind you of your promise"  Isra says both girls place their hands on his shoulders and some of his memory returns his promise to Yugi/Atem and Mai "you have to find her!.... she's lost and she needs you to help her remember!"   Qetesh says "we can help you start but the rest will be up to you"   Isra says "it took us awhile to find her but we don't know her as well as you do"  Qetesh adds Joey nods and his dream disappears.... as Atem summons Slifer Seto sees Isra's hand reach up and pet it and he hears it purr and Qetesh pats Obelisk's leg as he lands behind her and Seto he didn't even realize that either woman wasn't actually there but walking within the Shadow Realm helping Joey.... as Slifer attacks Obelisk both Isra and Qetesh react as though they couldn't breath it was as though they were being chocked themselves so in a small way both men were grateful that Seto was able to stop the attack.... once Joey was in the part of the Shadow Realm where Mia was Isra and Qetesh return gasping for breath Obelisk reaches down and gently pats Qetesh's head Slifer gently wraps his tail around Isra as though he was hugging her "we're fine ol' friends"  both Isra and Qetesh whisper to the Egyptian Gods that are on their loves side of the arena then Seto has his Obelisk attack Atem's Slifer after losing then gaining points Atem using a Necromancy card then having Slifer use his special ability to destroy all but Obelisk and Seto's Sword of Soul destruction allowing Seto to replenish some of Obelisk's attack points and even after the attack Slifer was still left standing by Atem sending his Electromagnetic Turtle to the graveyard because of a trap card Seto played called Power Balance Atem's turtles special ability kicked in once sent away and Seto starts laughing "oh great.... he's having fun!"  Isra whispers "the man does love a challenge!"  Atem hears Qetesh whisper in reply and he chuckles.....

When Atem has Slifer attack Obelisk then Seto uses Life Shaver Isra and Qetesh get thrown backwards from the blast of the two Egyptian God cards duking it out and clashing "QETESH!!"  Seto shouts both Qetesh and Isra stand up rush over too and hug Seto and Atem as they get sent back into the past "what's up with the Millennium Puzzle? the struggle between Obelisk and Slifer must have sparked something inside! but where is it taking us?!"   Isra hears Yugi ask inside his head "home!"  she whispers softly Atem gasps Seto held Qetesh to him concentrating on keeping her safe made him focus on something else besides whatever was happening around them though he couldn't help but shout as they got closer to their destination "this can't be real!"  the four of them (Seto, Qetesh, Atem, and Isra) stop in mid air where what looked like an upside down pyramid pointed out from the sky "it looks like some sort of ancient city"  Atem says as they all look down at what was below them "it's completely destroyed! oh!"  Seto says both Isra and Qetesh hug the men the love hiding their heads in their chests and both men instinctively place their hands on the back of the women they love's head "ah! Yugi! this looks like Egypt! but that doesn't make any sense we're on my duel tower!"  Seto says with a shocked tone "Kaiba! we've been transported to another place.... perhaps another time!"   Atem replies then he looks down at Isra as she thinks sadly "I never thought I'd see it like this.... please make it go away!"  as Seto says "impossible!"  Yugi thinks in his mind "maybe this is just a vision created by my puzzle but then how can Kaiba see it too? he doesn't have a millennium item!"  both Atem and Seto gasp when they see what looked like duel monsters made of stone in mid fight all along the ground and the four of them start floating Isra and Qetesh once again at Seto and Atem's side "that looks like Obelisk the Tormentor! and Slifer the Sky Dragon!"  Atem says with a surprised tone as the get closer to the stone figured then he gasps and says "but their made of stone! what's going on?!.... these are statues of the Egyptian God's!"   Qetesh asks softly "how can you be so sure their statues!?!.... you don't remember your life before now.... you don't feel their pain!"  Atem places a comforting hand on her shoulder as Seto says "unbelievable! the detail is incredible! it looks exactly like Slifer and Obelisk!"  Isra whispers softly "this must have been the aftermath of your final duel"  Atem squeezes her hand gently "look at this dump! I'm guessing that no one has lived here for ages!"  Seto says as the four of them move closer to the city he feels Qetesh become even sadder and squeezes her hand comfortingly as Atem replies "yes.... and the entire city is shrouded in a dark cloud"   both Isra and Qetesh let go of Seto and Atem's hands and float towards the palace in the center of the city the two men turn and watch them "look Kaiba! the darkness seems to be coming from that palace!"   Atem says his eyes widen and both he and Seto shout "Qetesh!!" "Isra!!"  Seto and Atem get transported inside the palace where their past selves were dueling and they see Isra and Qetesh rush inside then stop once they see the duel and hear Priest Seto laugh then say "look at the almighty pharaoh now it appears your once prosperous kingdom has crumbled under your feet and is now in the hands of the merciless grip of the Dark One how does it feel to be virtually powerless?!"   Qetesh and Isra gasp softly and both the priest and the pharaoh turn to look at them Priest Seto's eyes widen as he says in soft surprise "no!.... you're not supposed to be here!!.... you're supposed to be dead!!.... I was told that you were dead!.... that this was the only way to save you!!.... I must!.... I must save you from him!!"  Qetesh walks over to the priest and says in a soft loving tone "you know that isn't true Seto!.... Atem would never harm us!.... think of all the times he called upon you to help him comfort us!.... the times he shared us with you!.... fight it Seto!.... fight the darkness within!.... come back to me my beloved!"   she slides her hand up his cheek and his eyes close to the softness of her loving touch "wait!.... us!?!"  he says with soft surprise his eyes open wide and he finally sees Isra smiling at him "there are two of you!?!"  he asks in a shocked tone Qetesh smiles and nods as she asks softly "we don't understand it either but.... we're home!.... isn't that what matters!?!"  Priest Seto replies "no!.... this is just a trick!!.... he's just messing with my mind!!!"  Qetesh whispers with a soft sadness "oh Seto!.... my beloved!.... my darling my love my life my heart beats only for you!.... but if you continue on with this battle.... it shall no longer beat at all!"   Priest Seto says softly "I must!.... I must finish this!..... it has already begun..... there's no stopping it now!!!!"  Qetesh nods sadly and backs away from him and Isra rushes over to Pharaoh Atem and kisses his lips the pharaoh's eyes widen for just like the priest he thought he was just seeing things but feeling her lips on his proved him wrong both Seto and Atem watch from above in shock "now prepare yourself! for it's time to meet my ultimate beast! it will show you no mercy!"  Priest Seto calls out and a stone slab with the Blue Eyes White Dragon stands up on his side of the ancient arena and a stone slab with the Dark Magician rises up on the pharaoh's side "come back!"   Isra hears "her" Atem beg from up above her and she and Qetesh return to the other Seto and Atem "you knew!.... I kissed you and you knew!!"  Isra whispers into Atem's heart "I think now that we're up here we'll see it as it truly happened"  Qetesh adds and that's just what happened the pharaoh and the priest disappear then reappear and it starts all over with new words spoken by the two of them a whole different "show" Priest Seto laughs then says "look at the almighty pharaoh now it appears your once prosperous kingdom has crumbled under your feet and is now in the hands of the merciless grip of the Dark One how does it feel to be virtually powerless?!"  pharaoh asks "why have you chosen his side over mine?!"  Priest Seto replies "that's where your wrong my pharaoh my minions and I have no allegiance to the Dark One but we have no allegiance to you either! I am here to finish our battle and prove no one can overpower my millennium rod!"  Qetesh's Seto says with a surprised questioning tone "the millennium rod!?!"   as the pharaoh says "even in my darkest hour I shall defeat you!"   Priest Seto replies "then let our duel begin pharaoh! the moment I've been waiting for is here! I will finally take you down!"  the pharaoh asks "really?"  Priest Seto replies "yes! I shall be forever remembered as "he who defeated the pharaoh" now prepare yourself! for it's time to meet my ultimate beast! it will show you no mercy!"   Priest Seto calls out and a stone slab with the Blue Eyes White Dragon stands up on his side of the ancient arena and a stone slab with the Dark Magician rises up on the pharaoh's side and the two of them chorus "let's duel!"  it was at that moment both Isra and Qetesh see a very familiar face hidden in the shadows "Aayizah!!"  they both whisper with a tone full of surprise Atem looks over at the woman they were staring at and asks in a soft whisper "that's the pharaoh's wife!?!"  the two of them nod "she must have something to do with this!.... you and Seto could never have....! not without something to truly fight for.... she must be the one who spread the rumor that we had died.... but there is no way Seto would EVER believe that YOU caused our death so why....!?!"  Isra whispers "this is not the Seto I know!"  Qetesh whispers Isra looks at her with a surprised expression on her face as she asks "do you think the spirit lived within the rod even then!?!.... or maybe her mages placed some sort of spell on it or him"  Isra wraps her arm around her sisters shoulder as they continue to watch the duel progress "behold.... my dragon!"  Priest Seto says and the Blue Eyes White Dragon appears above him "my Blue Eyes White Dragon!"  Seto says with a surprised tone the dragon looks up at them and both Qetesh and Isra place their pointer finger over their lips and the dragon goes back to paying attention to the duel at hand as the pharaoh says "now.... you shall meet my loyal servant! show yourself!"  the Dark Magician appears above the pharaoh and he copies the dragons motion by looking up at the girls and smiling then back down at the duel in front of him "this is the ancient conflict that Ishizu spoke of!"  Atem says Isra and Qetesh nod "one we're almost glad we missed and yet might have been able to stop if we hadn't!"   Qetesh says sadly Atem places his hand on her shoulder she looks at him and teases with a smile "you'll do better than we did right!?!"  Atem replies with a smile "I shall try"  Qetesh hears Seto think to himself "this whole thing must be one of Marik's hocus-pocus mind tricks!"  she slides her hand in his and squeezes it he looks over at her and forces a smile "I'm afraid you don't stand a chance pharaoh!"  Priest Seto calls out and the ancient tablet that Ishizu had shown Seto appears shining next to the duel arena rising as though it were the sun "it's the ancient tablet!"  Yugi thinks with a surprised tone "now I know this isn't real!"  Seto thinks to himself but Qetesh hears his thoughts anyway and it breaks her heart that both Seto's stood unbelieving that anything they were seeing was real the priest form of the man she loves was more understandable since he only knew of one of her but the Seto at her side he's something different entirely especially since they've been together for so long and he's experience first hand her "split" from her sister and her gaining of her own life once more "Kaiba and I were destined to battle!"  Yugi thinks "I've seen enough!!!!"  Seto shouts in his head and they end up back at Seto's dueling tower "oh sure it listens to him!"  Atem hears Qetesh tease as they return and he chuckles....

"Kaiba.... are you alright?"  Atem asks "I'm fine.... what just happened?"  Seto asks Qetesh holds him close to her as he tries to catch his breath he could feel her start to cry so he stays in his kneeling position until she stops then they both stand up together "we were shown.... the origins of our destiny"  Atem replies as Isra helps him stand "now do you believe.... in your connection to the past?"   Atem asks seeing the sad look on Qetesh's face he knew the answer was no "I know who I am! I'm Seto Kaiba-- president of the world's largest gaming corporation! but I can't seem to get those images out of my head! it seems that no matter what I do this ancient fairytale keeps coming back to haunt me! it all started when Ishizu tried to brainwash me with her lies in the museum! ever since then my mind has been playing tricks on me! it happened during my duel with Ishizu.... and again when I was able to read the ancient text on the Winged Dragon of Ra! but today's visions were the most intense so far! I felt as though my body was transported to another place and time!.... the best and worst part of it was the change in Isra.... when she became Qetesh.... my darling beloved!.... I'm glad that she's now her own!"  Seto thinks to himself as he slides his hands under Qetesh's chin cupping it then raising her head gently so that their eyes met and locked as he continues thinking to himself as his eyes lock with hers "but that doesn't make any sense! I will not lose my grip on reality!!.... though she.... she's the best most intense reality of it all by far!!!!"  he could see the pain in her eyes as she listens to his words and though he wishes he could take it all back he knew it was too late that she heard the truth within the words he spoke.... his truth anyway "do you understand the significance of this duel?"  Atem asks "I understand that I need to win Yugi!"   Seto replies "we can't deny what we both saw!"  Atem says Seto looks at him in surprise then seemingly gets over it quickly as he says "Yugi! don't be a fool! that was nothing more than an illusion!"  Atem replies as he sees Qetesh shrink into herself as though she didn't want to listen or even be there anymore, as though she wanted to disappear just like the Egyptian God's did "Kaiba! acknowledge the truth! this is fate! you and I have been destined to duel each other for 5,000 years!"  Seto replies "whatever lets just end this now!"  Isra mutters under her breath "stubborn to the very end!"  Qetesh walks away from Seto and off the dueling arena as Atem says "I'm dueling for so much more than mere tournament victory is that clear?! I joined to help save mankind and nothing will stand on my way! that includes you Kaiba!"  Seto not only saw Qetesh leave he felt it as well and it hurt his heart not to have her near as he says to Atem "believe whatever you want Yugi this will all be over soon!"  then he thinks to himself "the sooner the better I NEED to be with her!!.... my love.... my comfort.... my home!"
