"Your carbon copy pales in comparison to the original Marik!"  Atem says "my Egyptian God Slime is more powerful than you think pharaoh but you'll find that out soon enough! now finish your move so my assault can continue!"  Yami Marik replies "we should bring Seto up here he could mock him until he falls in defeat begging for him to stop!"  Qetesh mutters sarcastically Isra shakes her head at her sister Atem looks at the two of them with a curiously raised eyebrow then he says as he draws his next card "fine! I'll place one card face down it's your move!"  Yami Marik replies as he takes a card out of his deck "very well fool! pharaoh it won't be long now soon my Winged Dragon of Ra will return to the field and wipe you out and in the meantime I have my Egyptian God Slime to serve as a wall between you and my life points and now for the card that will make that all possible-- the Indestructible Revival Jam!"  Atem's eyes widen in surprise "I see you recall your last encounter with my Revival Jam when you faced my mind slave Strings!"  Yami Marik says then he laughs "it's a day I will never forget.... the day the change started to happen and you forgot who I was!"  Atem says into Isra's heart as he takes her hand into his own "we both shared memories Atem.... she knew you just as well as I did.... our forgetting you was not of our doing!"  Isra replies Atem's eyes widen even more at her words he had forgotten that they did indeed share just about everything that they both made sure that one knew what the other did just in case one or the other came out at a certain time so that they would not be lost and "forget" something important that happened within each of their lives so then why DID they forget!?! that was a question for another time right now he had a duel to deal with and a world to save "now I have one more card to play-- Polymerization! this allows me to fuse my Egyptian God Slime with my Revival Jam! and now the fusion of my two creatures is complete!"  Yami Marik says as he plays his card and the two creatures merge together "but it looks the same!"  Atem replies "I assure you my Egyptian God Slime has transformed into a new more powerful beast it's your move so go ahead and attack it if you dare!"  Yami Marik says "very well! stand back! I summon Big Shield Gardna in defense mode!"  Atem says as he draws his next card then lays it down on his duel disk "now it's time for me to destroy your Egyptian God card imposter Marik! Obelisk the Tormentor attack!"  he adds Obelisk does as ordered and his fist goes right through his carbon copy splattering liquid metal ooze all over the place "gee thanks Obie!.... a little help here sis!"  Qetesh says as some of the splatter hits her cheek Isra chuckles as she walks over to her sister and wipes the blob off her cheek with her finger "thank you!"  Qetesh says with a sigh Atem chuckles then he watches as the metal slime flies back into the metal Obelisk as Yami Marik chuckles then says "I told you it was indestructible!"  Atem says "Marik's fusion monster is regenerating itself!"  Yami Marik replies "precisely! that's because my monster has the combined power of Egyptian God Slime and Revival Jam!"  he chuckles then says "my plans complete thanks to my invincible defense monster my life points can no longer be damaged therefore defeating me is impossible pharaoh! don't you see? this was my plan from the start and you fell for it! how naïve of you!"  Isra whispers into Atem's heart "you can do this!.... forget about who's counting on you and remember who believes in you!... you'll figure this out.... we all know you will!"  Atem says to Yami Marik "make your move!"  Yami Marik replies as he takes out his next card "it would be my pleasure! it's over for you pharaoh all you can do at this point is wait for soon you shall witness the return of the most powerful Egyptian God card-- the Winged Dragon of Ra! and even if you could attack me it's my weaker half who pays the price! I've wanted to banish him into the Shadows for some time now so feel free to do that for me thanks to you he's suffered quite a bit already most of his body has vanished"  he chuckles "is there a way to switch them!?!.... place that thing where Marik is!?!"  Atem hears Qetesh softly question as she hears the good Marik beg "please pharaoh defeat my dark side at all costs"  and he sees a small smile slide up the corner of her lips as Yami Marik say as he pulls a card from his deck "alright! I place one card face down and then I summon Bowganian in defense mode!"   Atem asks "what is that?"  Yami Marik replies "a creature with the ability to remove 300 of your life points each turn causing our little lovely to suffer!"  Atem looks over at Qetesh and she smiles a small soft smile then he turns his attention back to the field and takes a card out of his deck as he says "alright my move I shall place one card face down and then I'll sacrifice my Big Shield Gardna in order to summon Dark Magician Girl!"  once DMG arrives on the field she looks up at Qetesh and her eyes widen in surprise "I'm fine Mana.... help Atem!"  Qetesh says softly DMG nods then turns her attention back to the field "summoning her was pointless pharaoh and you'll understand why soon enough!"  Yami Marik says "pissing her off is not a good idea and you'll find out why one way or another asshole!"  Isra growls darkly as Atem replies to Yami Marik's "threat" "we'll see about that! now Dark Magician Girl attack his Bowganian!"  as DMG attacks Yami Marik says "not quite! now observe! your attack has triggered my Ultimate Trap card-- Jam Defender!"  the carbon copy of Obelisk's hand blocks DMG's attack and Atem gasps in surprise "as long as Jam Defender is in play My Egyptian God Slime is able to intercept every attack you make! and now watch this your attack backfires!"  DMG's attack flies back and hits DMG making her fly backwards Isra rushes over to her and helps her back up as Atem says in worried surprise "oh no! Dark Magician Girl!"  Yami Marik says "in case you haven't noticed I've successfully executed a strategy that prevents me from losing this duel thanks to the beast that stands behind me I've achieved complete immortality and since your Dark Magician Girl's attack backfired you lose 1000 life points!"  DMG looks up in shock as more of Qetesh's body disappears and she's surprised to see that Atem seemed unaffected by it "look around you Mana.... we were made in the Shadow Realm.... it can't harm us!.... that young man that Atem shares a body with was supposed to be the one who was to be where she is.... look at him Mana... who do you see!?!"  Isra whispers into Dark Magician Girl's heart Dark Magician Girl turns and looks at Yugi who smiles at her and her eyes widen in surprise as she looks from the boy to the man then back again Isra smiles at her "look at the cloaked wonder and the boy next to him and you will see something even more surprising!"  Isra says with a playfully teasing tone into Dark Magician Girl's heart and Dark Magician Girl looks at Seto and Mokuba and her eyes widen even more in shock....
