This Is Just The Beginning

"What do you want?"  Atem asks "I assumed you two would have figured that out by now after all you are the "chosen duelists" aren't you? well then prove it"  Dartz replies "I don't have to prove anything to you! now give me back my company before I get angry!"  Seto shouts "and return the souls you took!"  Atem adds "or else what pharaoh? because it looks to me like you're in no position to make demands"  Dartz replies "alright.... then I'll make you a deal duel us and if we win you'll release your prisoners at once!"  Atem demands as he and Seto prepare to duel "we summon Timaeus and Critias!"  Seto and Atem chorus as the two dragons appear on the field "ah the legendary dragons it's been quite awhile hello Timaeus.... how is that eye of yours?"  Dartz asks Timaeus roars and attacks then Dartz and his dragon disappears "he's gone!"  Atem says with a surprised tone then they hear Dartz say "the ancient battle continues my friends and soon your souls will be mine! farewell.... for now"  Atem shouts "wait come back!!"  Isra places a calming hand on his chest and looks into his eyes and he seemingly automatically calms down slightly as Timaeus and Critias also disappear once the dark cloud disappears the monsters that chased them before break through the doorway Seto grabs Qetesh's hand Atem grabs Isra's hand and they all rush towards a nearby elevator that takes them up to the roof where more monsters wait and the others that chased after them break through the elevator shaft they just came from "alright.... get ready to jump"  Seto says as he pulls Qetesh to his chest and wraps his arm around her Atem does the same with Isra as he asks with a tone of soft surprise "what?"  Seto replies "I trusted you now you trust me"  Atem says as Seto's Blue Eyes White Dragon jet flies up towards them "alright"  then both men jump with their hearts close to their chest as they start to fly away the monsters attack the jet and they crash land not too far from where they already were and end up being ejected from the jet by the force of the crash they somehow land on there knees with the girls in their arms as they stare at the somewhat destroyed Kaiba Corp building "I won't let him take my company apart!"  Seto says with a shaky angry tone as he sets Qetesh down yet doesn't let her go as he wraps his arm around her waist Atem and Isra look up to see the shadow of Dartz's dragon fly above them "Kaiba! it looks like we have bigger things to worry about now!"  Atem says as Seto and Qetesh look up as well "come on!.... Mokuba's probably worried about us by now"  Qetesh says softly as she takes Seto's hand and leads him back to the Professor's truck and trailer Seto chuckles as he allows her to lead him anywhere she wished to go Atem and Isra follow with a smile on their face.... once they get to where Rebecca, Duke, and Mokuba wait they find out that Joey ran off after Valon, that Dartz's monsters are roaming all over the world stealing souls and that the police are under the control of the Orichalcos "I made it worse didn't I!?!.... instead of saving and stopping I'm HELPING him gather more souls!.... by sending them to fight I....!" Qetesh says softly with a sad tone "this isn't your fault Qet"  Atem replies softly placing a comforting hand on her shoulder she smiles a small corner smile as she teases "out of all the people in the world I never thought I'd hear you call me that!"  he chuckles then says "yes.... well!"  she says "we should go.... we have a party to crash right!?"  Duke replies with a smile "yes and unfortunately it isn't the right kind of party"  Qetesh chuckles then says "aww don't be like that Duke.... who knows it could be fun!"  Duke laughs then replies "you're one strange girl you know that!?"  she says "I prefer the term unique.... it fits better!"  Duke replies softly with a smirk as they all climb into the trailer "that it does!"  she looks at Duke and says "hey.... you're the little speed demon so doesn't that mean you're drivin!?!"  Duke replies "aw man!"  Qetesh looks at Seto then at Duke and says "come on!.... I'll ride shotgun with ya!"  she walks over to Seto and kisses his cheek then says "you've got a lot to think about and don't need me distracting you.... I'll be fine!.... besides I have a feeling the conversations won't be ending anytime soon so you'll be distracted enough as it is"  Seto chuckles and kisses her lips then watches her climb into the truck with Duke he could tell by the way they treated one another that Duke didn't think of her as anything more than a friend he also remembers her mentioning something about Duke and Tristen having a crush on Joey's sister so he knew that he didn't have much to worry about when it came to the dice boy.... Duke's words reminded Qetesh of a broken memory of her life with a younger Priest Seto and looking at this modern day version of the same man was not helping her heal the pain that came with the mix of memories that came into her mind at that moment in time....
