The Need To Conquer All

Atem looks down at his duel disk and sees it shine "what's this!?!"  he asks with a soft surprised voice "when one calls the others listen.... look up!"  he hears Isra say softly into his heart Atem looks up to see all three dragons flying above him with a jet within the middle of them "the Legendary Knights of Atlantis back together again it sure is a sight to see!"  Isra whispers "it sure is!"  Atem agrees softly "though knowing Seto he's going to claim that it was his superior skills that got him out of whatever mess he got himself into!"  Isra teases Atem chuckles then replies "this is true!"..... as soon as the jet landed safely Seto walks back to where Qetesh, Mokuba and Alister still were and without a word he picks Alister up and heads towards the exit Qetesh smiles and shakes her head as she and Mokuba follow him "Kaiba"  Qetesh hears Atem say with a surprised tone "oh great"  came Seto's response then he jumps down onto the ground and adds "if it isn't the dweeb patrol"  Qetesh smiles then she picks Mokuba up and jumps down beside him "what happened up there?"  Téa asks as they hear the Kaiba Corp choppers fly towards them "Roland!"  Mokuba says excitedly "let him land first my prince!"  Qetesh teases with a chuckle in her tone Mokuba blushes "so you dueled dis guy on top of a moving plane?"  Joey asks "maybe I did don't you geeks have someone else to annoy?"  Seto replies Qetesh chuckles softly rolling her eyes at him while muttering with a playfully teasing tone "it never ends!"  Atem chuckles and Mokuba laughs then things get serious when Atem says "Kaiba we can't do this without you and you know it"  Qetesh teasingly replies "that's right Pharaoh feed that ego!"  Atem smirks at her then he continues "so please except your destiny and help us to stop this evil"  Seto lets out a short chuckle then says "if I had a dime for every time you used the word "destiny" I'd be even richer"  he sees Qetesh frown at him and he looks at her apologetically "he believes.... somewhat but he's lived the way he has for so long and somethings are to hard to fight but for some reason.... he WANTS to fight it!.... it's like he doesn't want to believe.... people hate change because they fear it and that fear is either hard to conquer or something he doesn't want to conquer.... which is odd for him because he seems to want to conquer everything.... he HAS to be the best you know!?!"  Atem hears Qetesh say within his heart Atem chuckles as they hear Roland say as he rushes over to the group "Mr. Kaiba! Mokuba! are you hurt?"  Mokuba replies "we're fine Qetesh took very good care of us"  Roland looks at Qetesh in surprise and says in a matching tone "Mrs. Kaiba!!.... I had no idea you were....!!!!"  Qetesh chuckles then replies "it's alright Roland.... I didn't know I was going myself until someone dragged me all the way to the jet!"  she looks over at Seto and Mokuba bursts out laughing "I do find it odd however that you called me Mrs. Kaiba.... you have never done that before!"  Qetesh says Roland blushes nervously as he says rubbing the back of his neck "well.... I.... uh!"  she smiles at him and he breathes a sigh of relief then says "I'm glad you're all ok but I have terrible news...."  he goes on to explain how the takeover of Kaiba Corp was lost to Dartz.... Seto, Mokuba, Qetesh, Roland along with Atem, Tristen, Joey and Téa as well as the two unconscious ones that Tristen and Seto were carrying climb into the chopper that Roland came on and flew the rest of the way to Florida Qetesh sat inbetween Seto and Mokuba during the flight listening to conversation that was taking place but not saying anything "so now our whole company is owned by this Dartz guy?! I don't get it Seto how is one person able to buy every single share of Kaiba Corp without you and I knowing about it?! our network should have detected it"  Mokuba asks "there's only one way that I can think of they must have hacked into our accounts"  Seto replies Qetesh slides her hand over his thigh and gives it a squeeze "without you knowing it? how'd they get past your security system?"  Téa asks "we're obviously dealing with a powerful organization here"  Seto replies "and old!.... can you imagine just how many years Dartz must have been saving and accumulating stuff to prepare him for this day"  Qetesh thinks to herself as Roland starts to say "but sir...."  Seto interrupts him by replying "save it I'm not your boss anymore"  Fuguta stands up looks at Seto and says "I won't abandon you sir I'll stand by your side until Kaiba Corp is yours again!"  Roland stands up and adds "that goes for me too!"  Qetesh smiles at the two men as Mokuba says "see Seto we're all with ya!"  Seto replies "then what are we waiting for"  Atem says "let's go we've got to get to the museum and decipher those ruins!"  Seto replies "my research team is already there and my security force will handle any unexpected guests"  and just as he says that the pilot of the chopper turns his head to face him and says "Mr. Kaiba! emergency message on the red line!"  Qetesh looks at the man with a worried expression on her face as Seto opens his briefcase then the laptop within the briefcase and says "this could be just what I'm waiting for"  he turns it on and they hear someone say from inside the laptop "sir.... we're ready to upload the images of the undersea ruins!"  and Joey says "so dat was your plan!"  Atem adds "you made sure your team got there before Dartz"  he looks at Seto and Qetesh Qetesh smirks at him and teases "they say with age comes wisdom but I hear it also makes you slower.... do your bones ache when it rains too Pharaoh!?!"  Atem smirks "what'd you expect? come on guys you know my brothers always one step ahead of everyone else"  Mokuba says "I wouldn't be so sure about that!"  Qetesh teasingly mutters Seto stops typing for a few seconds as he looks at her out of the corner of his eye with a raised eyebrow she smiles at him making him roll his eyes at her as he goes back to typing and says "receiving data"  then they hear a different voice say through the laptop "mind if we cut in!"  then Seto's employee ask "who are you?! hey don't touch that!"  Seto quickly grips Qetesh's hand as though he knew she was going to separate herself to save his people from the thugs that disrupted their work and he locks eyes with her "it's them!"  Atem says Seto gasps and Qetesh says with a tone of warning "don't you dare say it!"  Seto locks his lips together then smirks as Qetesh takes his laptop from him and hands it to Atem who contacts Rebecca and chats with her via video call....
