A Queen

You would think a queen had everything

That she would be happy in her castle on her thrown with her crown

Thing is the queen isn't really a queen

But the moment she was treated like one, it's like she became one

She felt like one

She thought she could go on forever being treated like a queen

But the king grew tired of the "queens" ways

He sent her off

The queen, no longer a queen, was now a mere girl

Back down into her hole

Into her prison cell

The girl felt like everything, then to be tossed out like nothing

The girl always loved with such passion that was never returned

The girl now was stuck in a jail house, being forced to clean and is being told awful things

She was getting beat and screamed at by the guards for no reason

She wishes to say something, but her mouth is glued with fear

Fear she might get sent away

And you would think she'd want to be sent away

But the uncertainty scared her

She didn't want to not know where she was going or doing

So she stayed, she stayed with the treacherous guards and the other prisoners she knew very well

The girl, no longer a simple girl, but a prisoner in her own home

The prisoner had one escape, and that was her education

The guards too k everything, but her education

She would go everyday to a place filled with people as sad and lonely as her

Just never the same story

The prisoner woke up every morning and went off

She thought of her life as a living hell, until

The prisoner met another king

A king that was interested in the prisoner

The king dug the prisoner out of her hole

Made her prison not seem like one anymore

She sometimes looked forward to going to her prison

The prisoner, no longer a prisoner, but a girl in a place that seemed like home

The king kept digging even tho the girl was already saved from her prison

He wanted to make her his

He dug and dug till he found her old, damaged heart tossed to the ground

He repaired it and gave it back to her, hoping she'd take it

She accepted it

She was happy again

He made her feel like a queen once again

The girl, no longer a girl, because she was treated like a queen

Now the queen was happy

Hoping she'd feel happy forever

She'd finally found a king that was willing to deal with her and her ways

She looked forward to seeing and speaking with the king

She heard his voice and felt his warmth

Held his hand and loved his soul

The king and queen loved with a passion, the queen never experienced

She never grew tired of his "I love you"s and his cheesy remarks

And she was starting to believe she was beautiful and worth everything

But one of the guards didn't like it

One of the guards saw all the little things she did

All the tiny mistakes she made

He gathered every detail until he was ready

He hit her

He took her happiness, he took her freedom, he took everything

The queen went back to a simple girl, then to a prisoner, and then to the lowest she's ever been

A name

No longer anything, just a speck

Didn't feel any emotion whatsoever

Just because the guard disliked her happiness

Now the poor king has to hurt because of the girl's mistakes

Now the name is buried back in her hole

By the guards, little did she know the guards were her parents

I'm so sorry
