Marry You

I wanna marry you

I want your last name to be mine

I want a ring on my finger

I wanna hear I do

See ever since I was a child i've always dreamed of being the lucky girl walking down the aisle

Wearing a white long dress, large wedding cake at the corner of my eye, both of our families on each side

Well as I got older my dream changed a bit

White turned to a bright blue and gold

A lot of people turned into close friends and real family

Large wedding hall turned into a subtle garden or on a beach

I'm not traditional nor will I ever be

I'm making my groom dress in white, bridesmaids and best man in gold, crowd in black

Far from traditional

I want to get married

Not just with anyone

My one and only

My truest friend and partner in crime

I trust you with my life

I trust you with my future

Even though it sometimes gets a little rough

We make it through

I'd give anything and everything for you

I want my kids to have your last name

I want to look into their eyes and see you

I want my hair to be gray and still wake up next to you

Every thought goes to you

Every second of everyday goes to you

I'm devoted, i'm committed

I want to keep going with this journey

And i'll admit, I sometimes say things I don't mean

But you should know I love you no matter what

So what I'm trying to say is...

Will you marry me?
