*3rd Person POV*
Another thing that was never mentioned was what happened at bedtime on the first day at Hogwarts. They were in the Gryffindor common room on their way into their common room. They stopped. Everyone said goodnight. Then this happened:
"Goodnight." Nico said to Will.
"Sleep tight," Will said to Nico. Instead of saying the normal "don't let the bedbugs bite", Nico says this:
"Don't let the bedbugs crawl into your ear and whisper threatening things that make you question yourself."
Will responded with "Nico, what the actual f-"
"No swearing!" Nico said.
"Did you just try to use profanity?" Frank asked. Hazel fanned herself with one hand. They both followed everyone else to their common room.
"Butt out," Will called after then. "Nico, what the heck? That was weird."
"No weirder than the time you dared me to lick the swing set!" Nico said.
"I didn't dare you to lick the swing set! Piper dated Percy to do it and you overheard and said you were going to lick the swing set. I told you not to do it and you said 'SHUT UP DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!' and licked the swing set!" Will shouted.
The whole Gryffindor common room was staring at them now. They walked awkwardly away.
