Billy's POV

I regain consciousness, noticing the sun's light shine towards my direction.

Was I really unconscious the whole night?

I make an effort to stand on my feet, but my legs go weak, forcing everything in my body to shut down again.

Kelli's screams, pleads and her fear suddenly creeps back into my mind, sending chills down my spine.

I didn't save her, and if I knew any better that night she would be safe and sound.

I gently slide down the brick wall behind me, breathing heavily to catch some air, hoping it would delay my dehydration.

Thanks to me, Kelli could be tortured right as we speak, even hurt, or killed.

But nothing is going to happen to her because I'm supposed to find and rescue her.

Without hesitation, I once again make an attempt to stand, ignoring my legs urge to fail on me. I finally maintain my composure. As I stumble over a little, I remain in a stable balance.

I turn my head right, where the thugs must have escaped with Kelli. My chin accidently brushes against my shoulder, leaving a small about of blood on it.

I look down, still standing, there are bloody footprints smudged against concrete, of my blood.

These must be the gangsters footprint, my only possible lead to find her.

I follow them till the very last footprint, standing in front of me is a small parking lot placed near the alley.

The men took off with her in a car, obviously.

In a distance, I see a bright pink item catch my attention. Maybe it'll help, who knows.

I quickly walk towards it, realizing it was the back of a phone case, a pink/blue iPhone case.

With a short examination of the phone, I gently press the home button, and the wallpaper was of me...

and Kelli.

I typed in the passcode to unlock her phone, a video popped up. Of her and the men. Rage filled up every single vein inside of me, as I pressed play.

"Hey little boy, we had a feeling you would find this. Well, we made it hella easy to locate" One man says, laughing between his words, with the other men chuckling in the background. He places the head of the gun on her chest.

"Billy, I'm so sorry I got mad at you, okay, I really am you didn't deserve that and now you could be dying because of me! I'm such an idiot, but i just know you'll be okay, don't come after me this time. I..It might be too late." She cries, tears running down her pale cheeks.

"You are damn right it'll be too late lil girl, billy boy is gon' hate it when he finds you dead with a bullet in your head and burned in a fire." He says angrily, and then washes the anger off with a louder, evil laugh. The other men join in.

"Any last words before you die?" He asks her, almost sympathetically.

"Thank you so much for making past 10 years the best fucking years of my entire life. I just really hoped you had feelings for me..and...even if I dont make it, I want you to know that I will not stop caring about you."

She looks down, trying to hide her apple red cheeks, but her face shines, maybe because of the moist tears.

"Ugh anyway we gotta go take care a 'dis chick right here so later bro. Oh and make sure to plan a nice funeral." He lastly says to me, and then ends the video.

"Damn it!" I yell under my breath, harshly pushing Kelli's phone down my pockets. My arm gushes out nore blood without my consent.

Kelli was so scared in that video, and she had the courage to embrace me through that video, after what I said to her. How the hell is she in my life? She deserves way more, I put her life on the line and its my responsibility to get her back safe.

Even if I have to risk my entire life this time.
