It's a little after ten in the morning and I know that because of the big clock Angel has nailed to the wall as decoration in the basement. Anyways I'm barely waking up. Of course the first thing I do is to look over to see if Diablo is still laying next to me but he's not, I thought so.

I'm relieved that things between him and I are fixed now. We tried this 'forget and forgive' thing once and it didn't work so well but honestly I really hope it works this time.

After a couple minutes of staring at the wall, I get up and begin to make the bed. This bed is comfortable and I can't thank Odin and Angel for opening their home to me once again.

Right when I was done I hear the basement door open then close. I was surprised to see Melissa walking down the stairs. This can only end two ways, we either apologize or another fight breaks loose. Let's just hope we make peace.

She stands nearby rubbing her hands together staring at the ground. It's pretty obvious she's feeling nervous and is also having a hard time putting her pride aside just like I would be. This means she's here to apologize.

"Melissa? Are you okay?" I ask softly.

She nods, "yeah, I'm okay. You know how I get when I'm about to admit my mistakes and apologize to someone."

I half smile, "yeah I know exactly how you are. So you're trying to apologize to me?"

She nods trying to smile but you can never force a smile when you begin to shed tears.

My heart breaks and I quickly go up to her and take her hand.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm the one that has to say sorry to you, Mel. We both knew our limits but we didn't stop. We hurt each other real bad and my dumb ass couldn't put my ego aside and apologize," I tell her.

"I'm so sorry, Roni. If I hadn't provoked you that night when we fought then probably none of this would have happened. You wouldn't have gone through this," she cries.

I shake my head sharply, "this is not your fault. Don't blame it on yourself. I'm the one to blame. Like you said, karma is a fucking bitch."

"Karma IS a bitch but I'm here now and we gonna kick ass together, I promise you that. And I also promise not to ever leave you again no matter what. I fucking love, B."

"I love you too fucking bitch," then I take her into a tight a hug and shit I needed this hug.

It truly feels good to have my best friend, shit no, it's good to have my fucking sister back. Yes, there were moments where I thought I hated her but my dumb ass knows now that I'm nothing without my true homies.

"Where's Gustavo? I have to apologize to him to," I tell her pulling away from the hug.

"He's upstairs with the team. Come on, they bought take out from that Chinese restaurant you love for lunch," she says.

"Really? For lunch what time it then?"

"It's one in the afternoon lazy bitch," she teases.

I push her teasingly making her laugh. I need to tell Angel that her huge clock is broken.

We get to the dining room and sure enough everyone was sitting at the large table. By everyone I mean Odin, Angle and her son, Geo, Clumsy, Gustavo, Adrian, Corey, Leo and Diablo. Freaking Diablo, even though he's simply in a back t-shirt and blue basketball shorts he looks hella fine. I mentally shake those thoughts out of my head and focus more on Leo. What the hell is he doing here?

"Leo? What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Damn Roni, we save your ass again and the first person you talk to is this guy?" Adrian calls me out.
