PROLOGUE
"Why can't they notice us, Jess?"
"Look at us. They are popular. We are not. The popular and the non-popular do not mix."
That was pretty much true at their school. It's their last year of school and not once that group of boys have noticed them. It was like they were invisible.
For about two year now, the girls had crushed on four boys in particular. They go by the names Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton. But unfortunately, in those two years, not once has the girls been noticed. What was wrong with them?
Was the truth that they weren't popular enough?
Well, Jess and Skylar weren't the stereotypical nerds in fact. Yes, they were kind of smart, but they were not super intelligent. They didn't wear thick, black frames over their eyes and had bits of metal stuck to their teeth. Instead, they looked quite normal.
So, I guess that nerds were crossed off the list, but what were they known to be? They had the group of the gym junkies, outcasts, band members, geeks and the cheerleaders, but could you call them good girls?
