And then he walked in.

His colourful, dyed hair was in a mess, his tie was loose and his shirt was tucked out and wrinkled. Then, he looked around for an empty desk and sat down behind Jess.

"Michael, why are you late, again?" The teacher fired at the bright hair boy.

"Uh, something came up. I'm sorry, Miss."

"No, your not sorry, Michael. You do this all the time. Not good enough. Straighten up your uniform. You look like a mess." Then Ms Dawson continued the class, talking about the greasers from the book they were currently talking about.

Soon, Jess felt a tap in her shoulder. She turned around to see who it was and what they wanted.

"Psst, can I borrow a pen?" Michael whispered while fixing his hair. Jess' heart was beating a million times a second.

"Uh, s-sure." Jess scrambled around her pencil case looking for a pen. Once she found one, she handed it to him.

"Thanks," he wink. Jess flushed.

"And then he wink at me!" Jess squealed.

"I can't believe that happened to you! Why can't that happen to me?" Skylar pretended to look upset, but cracking a smile because she couldn't hold it for long.

"I guess today was my lucky day!" Jess beamed. "That is the first time he has ever talked to me."

"I'm so happy for you!" Skylar smiled, taking a sip from her orange juice box. "Now he kind of knows you exist, you guys can get married and have ten kids!"

Jess just rolled her eyes at her best friend. "Stop being unrealistic."

The two continued sipping on their juice boxes while making comments about how gorgeous Michael, Calum, Ashton and Luke are.

How is everyone? I'm good, thanks.
