Finally, the old car reached to the party's destination. Kristin announced that it was a house party
When they all got inside, Jess felt nervous. "It smells weird in here." Jess sniffed the air, trying to identify the smell.
"It must be alcohol, Jess. That is what they drink at parties." Kristin rolled her eyes.
"No, no, it smells... Different. It isn't alcohol." Jess argued. Jess knew what alcohol smelt like. Her mother drinks alcohol all the time.
"Oh, that! Someone must be taking drugs here." Laughed off Luke like it was nothing.
Now Jess was kind of worried. She has never had an encounter with drugs before. Her mother only drank alcohol, not drugs.
The group reached to another part of the house and there were many people dancing, different to what Kristin or Jess has seen. There was cups that were filled of alcohol lying around and the music was quite loud. The floor was vibrating.
Then, Luke and Ashton walked over to a group.
"Look," whispered Skylar, almost squealing, obviously excited, "there is Calum and Michael." Then she pointed out to the group Luke and Ashton joined. In the group, there were the four boys. There were also some people they didn't know. Luke and Ashton were hand shaking those people and giving some manly hugs to others.
"Look now," now Jess was practically squealing. The four boys were heading towards Jess, Skylar and Kristin. Kristin was just rolling her eyes at the two girls.
"Krissy!" Screamed Calum as he jumped towards Kristin to give her a big hug. "I missed you!"
"I missed to too, Cally." Laughed Kristin.
Then Calum looked at Skylar and Jess weirdly, whispering something into Kristin's ear.
"Oh, Michael and Calum, before I forget, these are my two friends, Jess and Skylar." Kristin smiled. It was weird hearing Kristin calling the two her friends.
Calum gave Jess and Skylar big hugs and Michael just stood still and waved.
"Now because we all know each other, lets party!" The whole group screamed 'yeahs' and 'woos', including Skylar, but Jess stayed quiet.
