ONE

Skylar and Jess sat down right in front for their first class of the day. They liked sitting right at the front. It means they can focus much more on the teacher.

Every day since the first day of high school, all they could remember is sitting at the front. It's been their 'thing' since then.

While they were waiting for the teacher to walk in, Skylar took out her notes book and skimmed through the written pages, revising from last lesson.

"You always do that." Commented Jess.

"Do what?"

"You always read your notes before class. Like, always."

Skylar shrugged. It was true though. She's normally revising before her classes.

Only a few seconds later, more students filled the classroom ready for the upcoming class. Loud chatter was made and chairs were squeaking as students sat down for their lesson.

Finally Ms Dawson rushed in, only seconds after the bell. "Sorry, class. I would of came in earlier, but I had some... issues to handle." Ms Dawson placed her books on the table, fixed her hair and then started to walk around the classroom.

"For this term, we will study the book you all had to read during your break." Majority of the class groaned in unison.

"Now tell me, who has bothered to read The Outsiders?" Ms Dawson questioned. She glanced around the room to see who has raised their hand. All except two did not raise their hand.

And I bet you can guess who was those special duckling who rose their hands.

"Skylar and Jessica. Thank you, girls, for reading the book as you were told." Ms Dawson beamed. "As for the rest of you, I hope you have nothing planned tonight because you will be doing a lot of reading."

"Goody two-shoes," muttered a boy behind Skylar. She just ignored him.

She was quite used to the name calling. Skylar always did what the teacher asked her to do. They were always pleased with her efforts. But the class teased her for being a 'goody goody', but Skylar had to learn to ignore it.

But unlike Jess, she was never used to this name calling. Even though someone in her classes decides to say a comment about her 'good girl' behavior, she never understood why this was a problem.

I apologize because this is is kind of short. It was a bit of a filler. This chapter was just for you guys to see how being seen as a 'goody-goody' is like at school for the girls

Next few chapters will start being more... Exciting :D

I want to do questions for each chapter.

Chapter Question: Do you know a goody two-shoes!
