"No awkward after-shock of a heavy make out?" Louis asked as we sat around the table, watching Zayn, Liam, and Niall play the game 'Go-Stop' with a deck of cards. Louis looked between Harry and I, lighting my cheeks ablaze.
"Louis, don't make our guest uncomfortable." Liam warned, patting the back of my hand with his, his attention not straying too far from the game.
"Sorry." Louis said, not at all convincing.
"It's not awkward because we won't let it be." I said, watching Harry's slow smile grow across his face, his Adam's apple moving a bit as he held in his laughter.
"Of course not." Harry said, looking my way.
We both looked down at our hands and blushed. I bit down on my bottom lip to prevent my smile from growing any bigger.
I had kissed Harry and I loved every second of it.
"Oh, would you look at that?" Niall teased, scrunching his nose up at me in a playful manner. "Looks like we have a like-like situation on our hands."
"Might wanna check again with Evanjaline." Zayn taunted, sending a quick wink my way.
Harry cleared his throat quickly before asking, "Do you think you can stay another night? I'd really like if you did."
"I would love to." I said kind of too quickly, and it caused heat to reach my ears and the boys to chuckle at my embarrassment.
"That'd be great." Harry smiled, his dimples perfectly indenting his cheeks.
"Lets go back out to the beach, yeah?" Zayn said, throwing his bigger stack of cards down on the table. Obviously, he was losing.
I got up, too. Though I wished to be a normal girl, I couldn't help but want to be as close to the ocean as I could possibly be. The waters caress was so tempting and the thought made my blood sing in my veins.
We all made our way outside to the back porch, breathing in the direct smell of salt water that was beautifully heavy in the air.
"What's your favorite part of the day?" Harry asks, walking out on to the warm sand slowly as the sun begins to fall over the horizon of the ocean.
"Around this time."
"And why is that?" Harry questions, kicking sand up with his feet as we linger behind the other boys who kicked water around in the shallow waves.
"Because twilight dives are beautiful." I answer him.
"Dives?"
"Yes," I tried to word this correctly, seconds before it rolled off of my tongue. "When I swim during the day, it's just.... Swimming. But around twilight, as the first few stars come out to gesture the night, I like to dive deeply because the reefs almost shine in the last setting lights of the sun."
"That sounds amazing."
"You have no idea." I smiled, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"Zayn had told me that you knew the man who walked on the beach earlier. Zayn also said he'd let you tell me, because he didn't want to meddle in between anything." Harry spoke up, more asking then just saying.
"Yes, his name is Reef. He is an old family friend of mine who wanted to check to see if I was doing okay on land.....because I practically live in a boat that we travel in, on the ocean."
"That makes sense."
"He also reminded me of my limited days here. I have three more left."
"Until?"
