Lunch consisted of Harry and I making sandwiches for everyone. I carried the food back to the sand and he carried the drinks. Zayn had offered to help, but I really loved spending time alone with Harry. He would ask me questions that were so innocent on his end, but was a challenge for me to answer. I come to learn that I like challenges.
"Eva, can I please talk to you?" Travis asks while running up from the water. Harry and I had set towels down on the ground for their wet butts, but before I could take a seat next to Harry, Travis caught my attention.
"Sure." I stepped away from the boys and walked away with Travis moving at a respectable distance away from me. "What's going on?"
"What's going on is that Louis' theory is spot on. He knows you're hiding a secret and he has this thought that you're an alien or mixed in with those mystical creature types. He brought up the possibility that you're a mermaid, so I want you to keep a low profile as much as possible and stay away from liquids around him." Travis quickly explained.
"Okay, okay." I was slightly panicked.
"Did he see you?"
"No, I was careful. I only turned twice."
"So his guesses are just that?"
"Yeah, I think so."
"Good. If they start talking about it, what will you do?"
"I don't know... I want to tell them already."
"Are you really ready for that?"
"I was planning on telling- or rather showing- Harry right before my father shows up on my last day so he can hear Harry's response if he does love me, and if not then I can just go back home."
"Go home?" Travis' face fell.
"I made a deal with my dad that I would go back home if Harry didn't love me."
"Why would you do that?" He whined.
"If I didn't, he wouldn't have let me stayed. I know he wouldn't. Which is why he suggested to be out here near the water when we spoke last night. If I had declined his deal, he would've dragged me in."
Travis sighed and ran his hand down his wet face. "I just hope Harry's feelings for you grow enough to call it love."
I looked over at the boy who I was head over fins in love with. "I hope so, too."

Being reminded that I was limited on days had me worrying over Harry's feelings. We talked and hung out until the sun had set. He told me about himself this time because I wouldn't allow the topic to be switched on to me. I wanted to know about this human and all he's been through in his life. He even explained how he went through a 'Blazer Phase' but can hardly seem to pull it off anymore.
But I'm sure he's lying. He'd be able to pull off a hobo look, simply because he's Harry.
"You don't really tie yourself down to one style, though." I thought out loud. The stars have come out to caress the presence of the moon and its shine on the water made me feel like I stepped into a fairytale book, the ones Travis explained to me a few times.
"It's my dressers fault. I can go from casual everyday outfits to a model walking down the street with a suit and trench coat."
"I bet you pull it off." I shrug. "Effortlessly."
"How'd you come to that?"
"Because your beautiful, Harry."
"Oh, stop. You're making me blush." He playfully moves his hand towards me and swats the air. I smiled and gently captured his hand in both of mine and pulled it to my lips. I can't help but think how much the tables have turned; roles have switched. I called Harry beautiful, he became bashful, and I'm kissing his hand for reassurance.
