ethan hasn't talked to me much since chris left a couple days ago, and i haven't seen him in school a lot recently, and the classes we shared together he skipped.

was he avoiding me?

i pull my phone out of my back pack, calling ethan but i get his voicemail. so i decide to text him, maybe he got his phone taken away.

before i type anything i count how many messages i've already sent him, he still hasn't gotten back to me. but if i did something i want to know so i can fix it.

hey ethan lol, just wondering where you are. if you're avoiding me for some reason please tell me so i can fix it. i miss you, call me.

i let my head fall back against the bookshelf, looking in front of me where ethan usually sits. maybe he's sick.

i doubt it.

i get up and decide to look for him in the lunch room, and even if i couldn't find him, i could find grayson.

ethan was sitting next to grayson and a bunch of other guys that he claims he can't stand.

i approach him, tapping on his shoulder to see his phone in front of him on the table. so he was ignoring me.

"ethan?"

his head turns to me and licks his lips, "yeah?" i was confused on what to say next to i just asked him if we could go somewhere to talk.

"kinda busy." he responded, turning his head back.

i placed my fingers on his ear and pulled him up out of his chair, "we're gonna talk."

"sel what the fuck?" he cursed as we left the cafeteria. i cross my arms, letting my grip on his ear go.

"why the hell are you blowing me off?"

"i'm just busy." i roll my eyes at that weak ass excuse.

"seriously?"

"look my girlfriend doesn't want me talking to you anymore."

i step away from him, confused as fuck. when did he get a girlfriend.

"so you get a girlfriend and just leave me?"

"that's what you did with grayson."

i scoff, "what the hell are you talking about?"

"we've always been close selena, but as soon as you guys started dating you stopped hanging out with me."

"that's ridiculous i hung out with you as much as i could. and i never once ignored you. so what is this about? why does your girlfriend want you to stay away from me? who is she?"

"just let it go."

"i can't tell if you're kidding or not."
