"Racers start your engines!!!" Airi yelled as she stood in between both cars. The V8 of the AMG and 13B-T rotary of the FC roared loudly.
Both sides stood anticipatedly between different sides of the guardrail, looking at the two cars in front of them and ready to cheer their hearts out.
Airi raised her left hand. "Since this is the ultimate battle to decide who's the fastest, I want everyone to say the countdown with me!!!"
"Ten!!" Airi yelled in between the cars.
"Nine!!" Ayoko followed suit beside her.
"Eight!!!" Mr. Kenner said.
"Seven!!!" Hiro cried.
"Six!!!" Asuo screamed.
"Five!!" Said Danny
"Four!!" JL joined in.
"Three!!" Joel threw in.
"Two" Louis turned the traction control all the way down and eyed at the road in front of him.
"One" Thomas pushes the clutch and shifts to first gear
Both drivers: "LET'S DO THIS!!!"
"Go!!!"
(BEAT DROPS)
Both cars accelerated like jet fighters taking off the starting line. Their engines roared loudly at a mechanical choir of speed as they flew down the first straights! They left the starting line so quickly that a burn mark was left behind!
Inside their cockpits, both drivers shifted furiously from first to second and then second to third.
The crowds cheered on for the two, the spectators heard the tyres squeals from the summit and the television watchers were on the edge of their seats.
