"Your not bad senpai, you might be faster than when I last race you...." Louis stated inside his AMG GT-R.
"But I'M JUST GETTING STARTED."

Soon enough the FC gave way into an understeering drift but the AMG took the inside immediately attacking!
"He's attacking??!!" Thomas wailed alarmed. "Now???!!"
"Louis is going to pass!!!!" He's teammates yelled all together while watching the stream.
Louis entered the right corner and blew past it, his V8 engine kicking up the four wheel drive and gaining the inside! Thomas counter steered and tapped on the throttle continuously. Tyre smoke emitted from both cars as they drifted away leaving the crowd stunned at the switch of positions. The AMG now leading and the FC chasing.
"*static* I don't believe what I'm seeing! The AMG did a prefect combo move into that hairpin and passed the Drift King!!! I've never seen an attack that amazing in my life!! *static*" Hiro's radio blarred as the hothead blonde held it in shock.
"Thomas got passed??!"
"Four wheel drift at Formula One speeds???!!!" The spectators on the hairpin wailed.
"Only these guys are able to do it! Others would be splattered at the bottom of the mountain if they even try an attempt of this amount of speed into a hairpin!!"
Louis was soon to active his four-wheel drift, he quickly shifted eyes and counter steered into the corner in front of him making a significant gap from the FC.
Thomas then downshifted twice and counter steered into the corner, powering it through the apex and speeding away, the FC right behind of Louis.
"We're a quarter way through this course and I've seen your drift technique already." The hoodie stated as he switched gears.
"Now I wanna you to see mine."
Both cars screamed down the course drifting left and right into the corners, leaving burn marks of rubber on ever corner they went in.
The staff member spoke into his radio after they disappeared from his position. "They just blew past the 15# hairpin!! Damn the Light Element took the lead as Friedland gave up the inside!!! What is this??!!"
Airi heard the commotion on the walkie talkie as the team crowded the screen with the race's live stream projected in front of them.
"I don't understand!" Rachel cried frustratingly. "Why would Louis attack into the lead so early in the race like that? Isn't holding his position and then taking on the lead at the later parts of his race better?"
"I don't know actually." Airi stated, shocking the rest. The most knowledgeable one in the group was also alien to Louis' methods.
"My only explanation of Louis wanting to taking the lead was maybe because......."
"He wanted to let Thomas see how much he has improved."
"That actually could be possible." Joel agreed, placing his hand on his chin. "They battled twice before, so it could be out of curiosity that they wanted to be see how much they improved over the past year."
"I get it." The team then turned to JL who found the answer.
"Louis and Thomas has been running so many times that their no stranger to both of their methods. Therefore, tailing each other to get their techniques is useless now cause they've already know one another's capabilities."
"This isn't a race anymore," JL cutted in, eyeing the road below him.
"It's also a battle to see who's improved the most." ______________________________________
The AMG then began blurring away, Thomas was actually struggling to keep up as he steered into the next turn.
"He's so good that it amazes me!" Thomas admitted. "He's actually getting faster and faster after that pass! He was right to make his move in this section of the course!!!"
"With more sharp corners and straights the NA V8 performs like silk in these conditions. The natural aspirated engine makes corner entry faster and then he could power through exit of each corner and onto the straights like any American muscle on a drag strip."
"He could actually leave me in the dust cause of this change in position!!!"
The AMG soon left off a bright aura as it drifted making Thomas grunt seeing the AMG fading off.
"He really is the Light Element!"
Louis then trail brakes into a corner, obtaining loss of grip and balance through steering and throttle motions at the medium speed curve and widening the gap.

"Thomas......" Ayoko trailed worriedly as she saw the Drift King being left behind by two seconds.
"You gotta keep up!! YOU CAN'T LOST TOMMY-KUN!!!" The brown haired girl wailed with all her might at the live stream.
"*grunts*" Thomas felt like he heard something. Cries of his fellow friends and family wanting him to give his all. He look in front at his last and hardest opponent ever.
"Keep up man!!" Hiro yelled.
"You can do it!!!" Asuo cheered his friend on.
"Amongst all the races you've been through." Danny trailed. "YOU NEVER LOST A SINGLE ONE THOMAS!!"
"SO FIGHT!!" His three friends yelled at the screen hoping the message will reach their friend in the FC.
"Their counting on me." Thomas felt it. As if was some sort of telekinesis he had attached to them. He had to win this race one last time.
"Looks like I'll have to pass him!!" Thomas then powered through another hairpin with his comet drift. Exiting the curve at 300km/h!!
